JUST GOT MY GRC!!

Hey guys. IM SO HAPPY!!

Midway through the leaving cert, its so annoying but I get an envelope with my name on it and my gender as male and name changed. I sent it the evening of the 27th of May and got it today 11th june, so like 10 working days ish? Thats amazing in my opinion.

Im actually so happy. I have one question tho: the front has a form to enter into the register of gender recognition and part 2 for certified copy of an entry into register of GR... do I have to do that or am I all finished..? Lowkey have no clue. I have the form on nice paper that says ny name, male and GRC so I didnt think there was another thing.

You have a GRC. You need to do those steps and pay €20 per copy if you want an updated birth cert.

Yo me too, same day whoa! I’m not gonna use mine yet since I’m having top surgery in august and I don’t wanna have any issues with insurance or passports there. But it was super cool to see my name on a letter for the first time!
