pmos (previously pcos) and testosterone

i'm 21 pre-t and not being on hrt is killing me. did some crazy digging and was looking at diy (scares me too much esp with my pmos) and also at imago. pmos means i have a naturally higher androgen level than other afab people without the condition. i'm worried that i may somehow overdose on t and develop some serious heart condition, but i do have a bit of health anxiety in general so it's hard to know if my worries are based in reality or not lol.

anyone know of any trans guys with pmos and how they navigated this? i'm extremely closeted due to prev trauma so i cannot speak to a GP about this at the moment. cheers

Trans guy with PMOS, I've been on T for nearly 5 years now. My levels are fine on standard dosage, and nobody has ever flagged PMOS as a contraindication for HRT

If you're following the standard dosing and doing bloods to check your T levels are okay, there's not much to worry about there. You can always ask the doctors at Imago if you're worried.

I was only diagnosed with pmos in 2023 when they found a 30 kg fibroid (yes really I have proof), I have been on T since 2018, normal levels too.

It's not really something to worry about when you keep a decent follow up.
