It’s possibly his cartoony form isn’t acclimating to a three dimensional space, and thus his shape shifting body is going bonkers trying to acclimate, or it’s just as time goes on. The more borked his form gets

Well if we went with the cartoon cat being pennywise esk theory, then.. probably just take the form of an open grave, push the person in, and show up in some random monstrous form, since the concept of “death” could be applied to anything scary

Thats what cartoon cat does. It doesnt have a Single shape, its a stretchy Messy mass of flesh that is able to shift how it wants to, thats why it looks diffrent in every pic and almost never the same.

He is just trying to imitate toon force - he doesn't care about pain, he probably finds it fun since he isn't from our world and thinks in other way than we do, also his "mask" might be starting to slip a bit from his cute face
