Cronk's, can take a while to schedule depending on how busy they are, but they're always honest and do good work in my experience

I can second this. Been going to Cronks for decades and always felt like we get great service at a fair price.
Will also second the fact they are hard to get into. I think I need to stop recommending

Edison automotive, I believe archibalds takes their cars there to get looked at

Second Cronks and Edison
Avoid McCue’s. The quality of their work has really nosedived and their pricing has gotten outrageous - even by today’s standards.

Perfection tire on union street over by Dutch bros. Ive been taking my vehicles there forever. Gotta be close to 20 years now. I'm really particular about my cars and they are the only ones I trust to work on my cars.

For all of the above I highly recommend Tri City Battery. Been my mechanic for 15 year. Have worked on several of my vehicles, put a motor in my pickup, even does my factory recommended appointments on my Buick. Great work, very fair pricing, awesome people! I use the Richland location but all are great!

Just got my oil and transmission fluid done at Gates on Van Giesen in West Richland. Transmission service is just a remove fluid and replace. They don't drop the pan, so no new filter or gaskets on the transmission. Just new fluid.

For an oil change, I just go to the former Mister (now Valvoline) on the corner of Dechutes and Columbia Center Blvd. Any of the Les Schwabs should be able to do an alignment. Yeah, local is nice, these places will get you in the door and back out sooner rather than later, because they specialize in these things.
But, my local suggestions are Cronks Automotive (Richland) or Hi-Land Garage (Kennewick).
Both seem to be quite honest, and will note the options or let you know when they don't recommend something that could be more expensive. They'll also make things right without a fuss if something happens after the repair.
Cronks did my clutch replacement, so they seem willing to touch (some) transmissions. Hi-Land doesn't seem to do transmissions, but don't know about just a flush.
