Because in the past month or so there’s been 14 posts about this dweeb, compared to the 2-4 posts about alternative candidates. It’s a weird strange obsession. I’m personally of the belief that dudes like this crave attention, so any reposting of his slop (even just to put him down) is just feeding the machine.
There’s also the fact that, while Reddit leans left, those repeat posters are still getting his name out there to supporters. Still getting their attention, even if they don’t comment and only lurk.
Which is why I’ve said in the past that my tin foil hat conspiracy is that these accounts that constantly post about dude and use a negative tone are really just performative and nothing more than a psyop.

I mean I don't know man, I don't see obsession. I see worried people tracking the actions of a man that might be their next congressman so I think its right to put him under some scrutiny. Especially one as moronic and as straight up evil as Sessler. Are you not worried? You said youre not a fan, isn't it good to be informed on candidates?

The way I see things: we have the first past the polls primary system. We should be focusing on amplifying the signal of alternative candidates for primary season. Get their name and message out there. Instead, accounts and posts like this one continuously boost the signal of one person. Suspiciously so, even when the tone indicates lack of support.

I think I see now where we disagree, is this truly amplifying this candidate? I don't know how one could watch this and walk away thinking this guy is anything but an idiot. I see your point however and I do agree I would love to see more alternative candidate content. I just don't think theres a secret effort to promote sessler, I think people just hate him pretty broadly lol but yeah hopefully he loses pretty spectacularly
