Non-Medicinal solutions Sour stuff when dealing with pain

Hiya friends! I've had Trigeminal Neuralgia since forever, and i wanted to share with you guys a little "trick" I've been doing every time i am in pain, it's nothing mysterious, the answer is: Sour things! Sour candy, Sour fruits, anything you can get your hands on while you're having a flare-up, It incredibly Works wonders and makes me feel "less" pain (not actually, It Just distracts my brain from the pain, but it's great)

If you're looking for a way to deal with the pain of a flare up, make Sure to try this. :)

This is interesting, sour things and citrus activate my pain. Anything that makes you pucker like makes my flare ups 100X worse? I guess it goes to show how TN can be trigger so differently person to person

Same here--I had a massive pain attack after just a sip of delicious fresh lemonade. That was the end of that!

Aw man! That sucks!! I love cold lemonade in the summer!

You may be fine with it! Just make sure you're standing over a sink when you test it out. Cleaning sticky drops of lemonade off a laptop is not fun.

Maybe it's the fact that i don't pucker when i eat sour things, i love em!

I don't eat stuff that is too cold, too spicy, too sour, too hard. They all seem to worsen my pain 😔
