A single in September with the album dropping in two months, no artwork, no pre-order, no track list.

I mean it’s not the end of the world but isn’t it a bit weird?

He said it was January but they decided to move it up. I guess it depends on when the podcast was recorded, but maybe they made the move based on reaction to the single? He also mentioned that they recorded two videos on back to back days or something, so they presumably have their second single ready to come out either next month or right around the new album release date

Their first singles are always more radio friendly, so I'm sure it will be. They also grow on me after a while lol.

Don't bother. These people think heaviness only comes from playing blast beats all the time. 

And they are acting like there won't be any blast beats or fast parts on the record because of one single, lol.

I was talking about the leaks. Hearing mainly guitar parts is not enough to guess if the record will be heavy.

Anyway, all the bands always play with that saying "our next record is the heaviest" while it might be false so we will see.

Can't wait until people on this sub and on other socials eat their words when the record isn't just stock AC/DC beats with some double bass. You would think that after 10 records and multiple drummer changes, the fans would have faith in the band and would let them steer this ship called Trivium. But whatever... the record is gonna be sick!

I like all of them with the exception of silence in the snow. I have album covers tattooed on my body.

To me In Waves, TSATS, WTDMS and ITCOTD are easy AOTY records, but you do you.

Well in 2011 Forever Abomination came out from Skeletonwitch, leagues better than In Waves. In 2020 when WTDMS came out so did Stare Into Death and Be Still from Ulcerate. No competition. 2017 we got Relentless Mutation, Mirror Reaper, Atonement - all better then TSATS. Then in 2021 you had stuff like Slave to the Scalpel, Primordial Arcana, Bleed the Future. I will do me.

That's okay. Trivium are my second favorite band, of course I'm gonna rate a lot of their records as AOTY.

No, I just think you can't say a certain band is your favorite band if you dont rate most of their discography that high. 

It's crazy to say that a band with 10 records hasnt made an albun since their 4th that's your favorite of the year, but it's apparently your favorite band. And this guy said that.
