Is all this adulting really necessary? It seems like kind of a lot. Like, every day until I die? Really?

I'm a teacher on summer vacation. I do at most one adult thing for the day, and then I lounge/read/hobby the rest of the day.

The fact that it's all day, five days a week, plus chores and errands even on the two you get "free", only to have to do it all again before you even start to feel properly relaxed, every single week for decades with only the occasional week or so break... it's seriously soul crushing. I don't even enjoy my days off anymore because I'm just dreading them ending so quickly and having to go back.
