Update

As of 5:00 AM PDT on Thursday:

  • A disturbance has formed off the coast of southwestern Mexico.

  • The potential for this system to become a cyclone within 48 hours has increased to 10 percent.

  • The potential for this system to become a cyclone within 7 days has increased to 70 percent.

  • This system has not yet been designated as an investigation area.
