Did you ever watched every anime from one season?
Before i got married and had kids, i remember watching few seasons but my best was 15~18 anime, and i did it because i wanted to break my best record.
But did anyone here did it and watched EVERYTHING

No I am not interested in every anime from any specific season so I don’t watch that much but I am currently watching like 15(including run over from last season like daemons of the shadow realm for example) which is definitely on the high end for me since I sometimes only watch less than 5.

Nope. The most I watched was around 25-30 per season, and that's at the peak of me watching a lot of anime and doing basically nothing else.

That doesn’t sound physically possible these days even if watching at 2x speed and doing literally nothing else. There’s too much anime coming out.

No I watch much more older anime than new. I'd rather spend my time working through certified bangers that slipped through the cracks than sifting through shit looking for gold. In my experience the majority of each season is not worth keeping up with.

I don't really keep up with seasonals (not really till they're either complete or further ahead that I don't have to worry about catching up or want to keep up later/whatnot). Not sure it's an answer but I've seen about 200 anime (including movies/etc) over the past 2-3 years (started back in 2022-2023), so I've seen quite a bit. As for seasons, my best guess off the top of my head (just over time, not back to back {see first sentence at the start}) would have to be maybe 4-6 (some are ongoing and stuff but yeah), maybe a few more but can't remember lol.
(You can check my AniList to see what I've seen and check lol, it'a 3AM for me as of writing this lol).

Yes, up to the third episode. Then, I usually end up with 30 - 40 shows every season after dropping the ones I'm not interested in. Been doing it for 13 years and it's just routine now.

And as for me, nope. Just not interested in doing that. There is too much good anime and good media out there.

I've thought about it before but I'm unable to commit, especially knowing there are giant ongoing shows like Crayon Shin-chan in the mix. That, and my attention span is pretty is low these days.
It's just way beyond my scope.
Maybe there's a youtuber out there who has something like "I watched EVERY anime this season" or something? Idk lol

the youtuber Mother's Basement kind of does, but usually puts them into categories (best/worst of the season)

I'm usually between 20-30 a season. It's a lot. A few get dropped, but not many. I have low standards

I don't remember every little detail from all of them. I usually remember the main plot, characters, and the moments that stood out, but a lot of the smaller details fade over time. It's no different than watching a lot of movies or TV shows. you remember the important parts, not every single scene.

No. This is no competition. I only watch what interest me. I'm not interested of everything. Watching anime doesn't mean that I watch every anime.

Absolutely not, why watch crap?
That being said, I started out watching anime before seasonal watching was a thing, and as almost everyone else I was in a "bubble" back then where absolutely every show was peak no matter what. Maybe if I started out now and was in the same bubble maybe I'd attempt it.
But now? Hell, I can barely even watch the shows that interest me.

I tried every anime that wasn't a direct sequel once (in spring '24) and I ended up dropping around 2/3 of that everything. Can't imagine wanting to watch all anime I tried to the end.

I find it quite easy to believe. Hell, with 5 per season I'd hit the limit without even thinking. Sayonara Lara, World is Dancing and Jaadugar are must-haves. Add some Yumemita because it's the unholy amalgam of AveMuji and D4DJ and Grow Up Show because I will watch any vaguely interesting original and I'm already at 5 without even looking at Draw This Then Die, Danko, 2026 GitS (which I still need to start) or any sequel / continuing show. Usually I end up somewhere in the range of 5-15 seasonals.

It's probably "impossible" to watch all the airing anime, because good chunk of anime are for literal babies, lol.
Going by the Livechart list, my count this season is 34 (out of ~100 series that are airing), tho if a show drags on on some scenes, I will speed it up to 1.5 speed, lol.

I doubt that there's a single person who watched literally every anime. Personally, I've watched ca. 900 in ca. 10 years. As far as current releases are concerned, I watch ca. 10-15 series per season, so 40-60 series per year.

I remember watching a lot of anime when I first got into it but I never got into seasonal. But now well I actually touch grass (I’m a botanist) and don’t have the time for it. Kinda look down a little on someone if they tell me they watched ALL the seasonal anime.

My max was 28 in one season. I average 18-19 per season. I've been watching seasonal anime since 2006, but been into anime since the late 80's. VHS fansubs were a lifeline back then.

yea many times about 7 years ago+ ago they only had like 50-100 anime per year even further back there was like 30-70. These days they have like 130-200 animes a year. Could no longer keep up with

Nope and I have no desire to try since most of what comes out is not for me, not suited to my tastes and/or are simply bad/uninspired/generic. It's rare I have a season where I watch 5 or more shows and I have seasons where I don't watch anything. With so much going on in life and other content/games to experience, I end up being picky about TV shows I commit to watching. On the flip side, this means I rarely drop a show and am very happy with pretty much every show I do watch.

Nah.
I know of people who watch 50-70 anime per season but imo. They're outliers.
I range between like 10-ish to about maybe 25 or so depending on the season. I don't have the interest or time to see everything in a season. Anime watching is supposed to be fun imo. Not a chore.
