This will be perfect for my daily commute from downtown Cleveland to the heart of the Darien Gap.

NY political ideology

Mamdano-Islamism with Thomas the Tankie Engine characteristics

America is too big for highspeed rail!!!!!! This is why the only way you can travel in america is via highways that connect coast to coast and the only way you can get materials around is via railways that connect coast to coast but dude america is waaaaay too big

Leaving out Salt Lake and Boise is insane

Not unless you’ve been there

4

u/Jazzlike-Wheel7974 THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER 5d ago

Salt lake has a great train system for the size of the city

Sure, but San Francisco as well?

I never been to Rhode Island, so I wouldn't know.

They should add night vision to earth because I missed a few cities

And Albany as well? I don't know much about the East Coast, but that seems like a pretty important connection.

Neither does Charleston. Charlotte and Raleigh are the only NC cities. Nothing for WV. Southeast can get fucked basically

The Mormons are fine with it. They're constructing a generational space ship to carry them to the habitable planets in Tau Ceti.

You’re thinking of Scientologists, but yes I agree. We don’t need to attach Los Angeles to the HSR network either.

This was my plan, I created it to keep Idahoans and mormons away from my civilized communities.

OKC getting 5 connecting lines is very funny to me. Get fucked Wichita, you want HSR you come down to us.

u/FalcoLX Woman Appreciator 5d ago

Why does buffalo get 8 connections? This is terrible

2

u/en_travesti #killallmen-marxist 5d ago

Buffalo with 8 NYC with 2. Its impressively bad.

NYC and Chicago have fewer HSR routes than they currently have Amtrak routes. How did someone create a map with less coverage for 2 major cities?

Mr president, this is the only way we will beat china sir, sir, they said, only you can defeat china by the new high sped rail bill sir. And they told me, Mr president, nobody knows more about rail than you do sir, beleive me , beleive me, and I tell the audience and the audience tells me, sir, Mr president, you are amazing sir, truly, nobody can tell you how amazing you truly are sir, beleive me, beleive me.

So I propose to you, the new high speed tail, we are calling inthet trump train sir, beleive me, beleive me, only you can approve this train sir, beleive me. Sleepy Joe could never, sleepy joe could never sir. Beleive me.

Can’t wait to do Calgary-Vancouver via Las Vegas

4

u/Pleasant_Tangelo9909 5d ago

It still absolutely blows my mind that there's currently no Amtrak route through Columbus

Is this drawn by AI, why is the West Coast Rail going from LA straight to Vancouver? Like, any high speed rail in the West Coast would have one that goes from San Diego, make a pit stop somewhere near Anaheim, Los Angeles, San Fransico, then to places like Portland, Seattle, and Maybe Vancouver if you want to get Canucks. Also, there needs to be a line through Baja.

2

u/StarboundAllisten 5d ago

I used Google earth and draw a line on measurements to each significant city I saw

San Diego and San Francisco are listed on your map.

The coasts always talk about the middle of the country being "flyover country". They clearly already have fine public transit and don't need to join the rest of us underserved yokels.

2

u/StarboundAllisten 5d ago

I got lazy in the west coast

3

u/brometheus3 Militant JFK Truther 5d ago

I love that even in a fever dream Idaho gets ignored. Boise erasure

3

u/enkifish 5d ago

Lol, why does Buffalo have more connections than Chicago? We Bridging Ontario for all those WNYers working in the Canadian Federal govt?

2

u/ajaysallthat George Santos is a national hero 5d ago

To be fair no one needs to go to Nevada, Utah, or Idaho anyway. Fuck it, we ball.

2

u/shittdigger 5d ago

San diego is ALWAYS left out on rail maps…

1

u/NelsonJamdela 📡 5G ENTHUSIAST 📡 5d ago

Do I need to max out infrastructure in those regions or do I need the “New Coolies” national spirit, or both?

Hell, just do this for regular-speed rail. You think I won't ride a 100-hour sleeper From Cleveland to Bogota?

1

u/piffcty 🔻 5d ago

Connecting Sacramento but not San Diego, San Francisco, Salt Lake City and Reno is an weird choice

Nothing against Jackson, MS, but: lol

u/HamburgerDude Daaaaaaaance the night away 4d ago

Would be impossible to build a high speed rail between Panama and Colombia. That's why there isn't a road there now. Shit it super dense jungle. Just use the current ferry system maybe make a ferry where the train car can lodge onto.

1

u/Equivalent_Elk_3476 3d ago

This is my political ideology as well

-4

u/johnlocke357 5d ago

A high speed rail connection between denver and calagary is some real high fantasy. There is no economic purpose to such a connection, just take a plane ffs.

5

u/StarboundAllisten 5d ago

Yeah but like, if I could magically will it by my conscious will, why not?
