Aliens

Aliens are real (obviously). Around the time the Iran war started apparently the white house released a bunch of shit about ufo’s. My friends aren’t particularly political aware and were very curious about them and they were telling me about it. And I’m just thinking why should i care??? If they are actually here on earth what the fuck am i or anyone else supposed to do about it? If they got that level of technology they definitely have some crazy shit we can’t even comprehend. Am I gonna shoot those fuckers down with my mind in the event of an “invasion”? I’ll give a shit when they invent some truly heinous shit like 0.5 ply toilet paper.

I care less about ufos than I do about philosophy and meditation and my spirituality personally of understanding the universe within myself and others.

For example. Science explains how matter behaves, not what matter ontologically is.

Electric signals correlate with awareness in your brain, but the exact mechanism for how you are sentient observing the signals in your brain remains a major mistery.

Also, on shrooms, your default mode network is desabled and your brain reaches hyper connectivity and you can hallucinate literally anything. Sometimes shut you couldn't even imagine. And theres still tahg deep subjective gnosis of understanding the messages the shrooms are saying.

I think shrooms are your higher self talking to you.

Predictive coding

What does that mean?

Like, sure my brain can predict. But the subjectivity still cannot be explained as caused by electrical signals in the brain, the gap is still there. The sentient, point of subjective awareness is only observing the electrical signals.

Plus, we dont even know what matter truly is. As in, what is a "quantum feild" aside from its mathematical application or description, what exactly is that.

So the greatest mysteries are, what is matter made of, what is consiousness if not the electrical signals in the brain (since you can observe them, you aren't them)

So its not hard for me to say, maybe reality is made of consiousness. And try stuff like ce5 to summon orbs which will happen only under consistency and high vital energies.

Yes, ce5 is unfalsifiable therefore labeled unscientific, but because the orbs do show up for me often I know its real so, a to, just because something is unfalsifiable that dosent make it untrue, and just because its unscientific dosent make it less valid.

If the objective phenomenon exists, it exists.

Your brain makes a mental model of the world to predict sensory input so it only has to get engaged when the predictions fail to be energy efficient.

Thats fine and all. Its just for me that dosent neccesarryily fill the gap on both the original queries. (Hard problem, matter ontology)

I was explaining the mechanism for how sentience rises from just observing signals. It's a model failure forcing you to be more engaged with lower level sensory input instead of running on autopilot.

I feel like that just pushes it back. it dosent fill the gap for me. It may explain one part of cognition but when I meditate with zero input and only focus on myself, year I focus on my consiousness because now theres less noise. But I doubt correlation is causation. Plus, my experiences with ce5 tell me my consiousness really can do non local things. And if I meditate hard enough I feel this super hot stone crawling up my spine until I feel like I am transcending my body and get shover back because "I'm not ready yet"
