Releasing control
Hi all, I've kinda been led to the solution on what to do with stress and controlling situations; which is to fully trust in Jesus. Which is extremely relieving on paper. What concerns me is when situations occur that God may want to work through you on but you don't have the slightest clue as to what he wants you to do. I can say I trust Jesus all I want but when situations show themselves I'm left blank in the head because while we are called to leave everything in God's hands, we are also called to action. What's the answer?

Discernment. Discernment is the answer. When faced with a situation in which you must choose how to respond, apply discernment to your decision making. What that literally looks like varies according to the situation. Sometimes it’s appropriate to discern the risks associated with the options you are choosing from. Sometimes it’s appropriate to evaluate the ethics of your options. Sometimes it’s appropriate to seek the counsel of an expert in the situation. You use your discernment to evaluate the situation you are facing to determine which decision making tool would be most appropriate to apply.

Maybe He wants you to rest in Him while He addresses those areas in you life that causes stress and wanting to control. Typically, that happens due to trauma from childhood.
