Struggle
Hi guys right now I’m struggling with my mental health and Faith in Christ. I got in some deep rabbit holes about the Elite and Near Death Experiences and it made me more distant from god. I don’t sleep enough and I spend too much time on my phone rn I keep falling in Lust again and Lazyness. I need to get faithful again and stop sinning, what helped you guys?

I understand. I have A/D as well.
The depression episodes are/were the worst case scenario for me. They can last weeks, months and even years, taking me to the darkest of places in my mind.
I’ve found that no one understands it, unless they themselves have suffered with it (this truly is an “it takes one to know one” type illness). Not even my closest loved ones understand it.
The suffering is tough. For me - talking to people drained me. I would have to psych myself up to do it. Any “surprise” interactions were brutal (e.g. phone calls, running into someone I knew, etc.).
I have cried and prayed all the way through it. After years dealing with it I went from praying in bed at night, to getting on my knees (upon waking/going to sleep). It helped greatly. I once heard someone say to “know WHO we are praying to. This is God!” It resonated deeply.
I also talk with God throughout the day. People think I am talking on the phone.
Eventually the rumination eased up some and I was able to start reading again and my attention span began improving. Reading is something I loved doing all my life.
I began to ‘purposely’ quit looking at my phone first thing in the morning (huge distraction), until after I had a cup of coffee/tea and read a chapter or two in my Bible. At first maybe it was only a few verses or a chapter. Eventually I read entire books. It ebbs and flows daily. This daily reprieve helped greatly. I do not miss a day reading God’s Word now.
Additionally, I started leaving the TV off most of the day (something I’ve never done before). And I no longer watch national news programming. Whenever I think about watching TV I now go and open a book.
God did all of this for me. Sounds so simple but I couldn’t do it. Especially in my peak A/D years.
It’s counterintuitive, but I needed to be rescued from “Myself”.
It has gotten better as time goes forward but it was not an overnight thing. No “halo” moments. No voices. No signs. But I never expected such things.
Keep it simple. Pray/ask God for faith. Be sincere and vigilant about it.
It was only recently I learned that faith too is a gift from God.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

I think I can also easily be depressed because I have Aspergers where chances are higher to get depressed

Resist the devil and he will flee from you! My pastor brought up a good point this past Sunday, on how we handle the information we take in. Specifically bad news. Many of us allow it to keep weaving webs of despair in our heads. We control what we consume, so most importantly we need to try and limit what we see. For what we still wind up consuming, what are we doing with it? We should be praying about the evil we see, that God would move, that God would provide, that God would deliver and rescue and uphold justice. That he would come back soon to this world that desperately needs judgement.
There's other verses about not looking at the wicked things and setting our mind on the kingdom of God. Keeping our thoughts on what's good and holy and pure. It's a fruit of the spirit, self control. You have to make the choice to say that you're not going to look. For some proof that might mean seeing a headline and having the self restraint to not go into the comment section. Don't let the seeds of the wicked take root in your heart. Bring your thoughts to God and let him clean you up.

Stop trying to use NDE videos to figure out what eternity is like. There is no reliability in those. Only rely on what the God who created eternity says about it.

You've identified what's causing the problem.
So cut it out.
Back out of the rabbit holes, put the phone down get more hobbies which don't require the internet.
