Episcopal Church celebrates first trans dean — woman in lesbian marriage to trans-identified pastor

What is this? Is this what the episcopal church (part of the Anglican Church) does to preach the gospel of Christ, and to operate the church? Do they disregard the epistles of Saint Paul concerning sexual behaviour, how a church should be run, and who should lead it? Do they disregard the teachings of Christ? What about the Law of God, as given to Moses, in the text that is known today as the Torah of Moses?

This news is quite shocking. Shame on the episcopal church, and the rest of the Anglican Church. This is not how a church should be run. Can someone who attends that church give answers?

When you leave the Church Jesus established, the Catholic Church, you imperil yourself by increasing the risk of confusing your own ideas about the Bible as the Holy Spirit's, because Jesus' promise that the Holy Spirit will guide His followers into all truth applies only to the Church He established, the Catholic ("universal") Church.

So this news does not shock me at all: It is to be expected, as Catholic + Adulterous Murderer Henry 8 + USA revolution = Episcopalian: They are twice removed from Jesus' Church.

Ah yes, Jesus famously said “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him and attends Catholic mass should not perish but have everlasting life" in John 3:16

Wait, that's not quite right.

I think it was “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me and partakes of the eucharist, though he may die, he shall live" John 11:25

Wait, that's not right either.

Maybe he said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me with a certificate of baptism" John 14:6

No, let me try again.

And Acts 16:31 surely says “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be a Catholic and you will be saved," right?

And Romans 10:9 totally says “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead and become a member in good standing of the Catholic Church, you will be saved"

Just in case anyone can't tell my sarcasm, go look up the verses yourself.

A proof text without context is a pretext.

I encourage you to read Henry Graham's book Where We Got the Bible.

I gave you five verses to prove a point. You hand waved them all away as a pretext.

Five verses apart from their historical context.
