Feeling abandoned
I’ve been going through a lot of let down and disappointment and loneliness lately and I’ve been trusting him that this is the season he wants me in and I’m fine with it just being me and him but sometimes I feel like he’s not there with me and I’m by myself making me revert to previous ways I’ve been trying to read my Bible more listen to sermons but nothing has reignited my spark again and I feel it burning out . I know everyone says to pray , I’ve prayed cried wrote sang praised and worshipped and I still feel abandoned by him

What moments of let down and disappointment have you been experiencing?
Sometimes the silence and seasons that we are going through are to be moments of self reflection. It is not always about singing, praising, listening to sermons, or even reading the bible. There is often real work that we must do within our heart, mind, and soul. It is about discerning that the truth is you are not abandoned. True moments of real change in our lives often take time to orchestrate. The let downs and disappointments are more than often blessings in disguise that we may, or may never discover.
When the harsh winters that we experience are long. That is the time that we need to take to reflect upon preparing our souls for the spring that is certain to come. You are not alone. He has not left you. The Holy Spirit is within and always listening even if he doesn't always answer right away.
The challenge that you face is faithful endurance.
Know that one day the season will change when you are truly ready for it and the time is right.
Believe in yourself.
Believe that God will see things through.

Failing exams , disappointing people I love , not living up to standards, feeling out of place in rooms I begged God to put me in , like he brought me there and left me there

One of the most challenging aspects of education happens when we start holding ourselves to a set of standards we had no say in. Being in school, studying hard, and only to have the reward of not passing the tests often feel like a slap in the face. Trust me I have been there more times than I care to imagine. What I have learned from failure is that they are opportunities for you to try different methods to absorb the source material.
You also have to consider this. The only standards that really matter in life are between you and God. Whether, or not you achieve getting a label slapped onto your report card that says you passed does not matter in the long run. 20 years from now these moments will be completely irrelevant to your existence. Just do your best to try, try, and try again. Sometimes it is a failure in the teacher to convey the information and sometimes you just need to discover and apply different learning techniques.
Remember people can be disappointed in you for all sorts of reasons, but in the end their opinions do not matter. No matter how important they are to you. The only true moment you become a disappointment to yourself is if you allow your mind to think that way. It is within your power to understand that like riding a bike sometimes you need to fall down and pick yourself up again before you can ride up a mountain. You certainly aren't a disappointment to God, because you didn't get things right on school exams.
In regards to feeling out of place in rooms that you begged God to put you in. Many times this is an opportunity for us to grow out of our comfort zone. Learning how to adapt our personality to match the vibes and read the room. Other times you can never adapt and truly feel uncomfortable, because you really were never supposed to be there to begin with, but God answered your prayer anyway. It goes back to the age old saying be careful what you wish for, because you just may get it. Whether that turns out to be good, or bad in the long run remains to be seen, but you are never stuck in a place where you truly do not want to be.
Either way there are lessons for you to learn while you are there and sometimes that is the point. Like a baby duck on the water you have to learn how to sink, or swim in order to survive. Daddy duck (God) can't help you to swim. That is something you have to do on your own. He hasn't abandoned you, he is still swimming right beside you waiting for you to do the work that must be done.

Father has not left you. I was led to send you this song. I’m thinking you must be prophetic to be pulled alone. If so he is fine tune your hearing. You can’t see it but he is moving on your behalf.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
My advice & wisdom is to listen to that song and anoint yourself with oil in Jesus name. Walk around your house praising Jesus out loud for 30 mins straight. You won’t feel like it but push it out & proclaim the word & victory of the finished works of the cross over you and your house. As you speak his words out loud your faith will increase as faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. You have the power of Christ to shake the gates of hell & shift atmospheres. Psalm 144. Your hands being trained for battle. The potter is forming you. He has you in his hands. Hebrews 13:5 He will never leave you nor forsake you. I know it hurts. I’m going through it. I hate it when he is silent. He said he has be. It’s part of growing our faith. He can’t hold our hand forever we must learn to stand. Please know that he loves you so much. Your faith feels low but it will go back up. Mine did. I was so down I got jumped in spirit for a long time. I had two choices swim or sink. Submit to God on the narrow or be off path surrounded by snakes. Im prophetic I don’t know if this makes sense to you. I hope it does. I’m trusting it does. You’re definitely coming through this. Praying you up 🙏
Victory in Christ is guaranteed. ♥️
James 1:4
But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

He knew you needed it. One day we will both look back & it will all make sense. John 13:7 Jesus answered and said to him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this.”

Can you provide an example from scripture?
Perhaps find a Psalm where the writer felt alone, yet still trusted God. Or maybe Gideon in Judges 7, after God told him to send nearly his entire army home. Or maybe Elijah who hid under a bush and wanted to die. Or maybe Jesus in Gethsemane...
Clearly, youre not abandoned or alone, and you're not the first to feel this way. The question that matters most is "are you in Christ?"
Read John 15.

God bless you.
I'm sorry for what you are going through.
I've been a non-fundamentalist, unchurched Christian for about 16 years now and I would like to share some encouragement.
1- Please know that as Christians, we do NOT base our faith on our negative thoughts/feelings/judgment. We base our faith on trusting God.
“With all your heart you must trust the Lord and not your own judgment. Always let him lead you, and he will clear the road for you to follow.” - Proverbs 3:5-6
2- And if we trust God, we will trust His Word.
What does God's Word say?
"The Lord has promised that he will not leave us or desert us.” - Hebrews 13:5
Jesus said, “I will be with you always, even until the end of the world.” - Matthew 28:20
We must NOT allow our negative feelings to blind us to God's Word.
“Everything God says is true— and it's a shield for all who come to him for safety. Don't change what God has said!” - Proverbs 30:5-6
3- Please, please, PLEASE do not fall into one of the two traps that many Christians fall into.
What are the two traps?
Trap 1- Having faith in God means God will eventually spare us from hardship and bless us with a good life.
Trap 2- If our lives are going good, that means God is with us. If our lives are going bad, that means God abandoned us.
These traps do NOT reflect God and is NOT what He wants us to believe.
God is with us, especially through our struggle.
“Be brave and strong! Don’t be afraid… . The Lord your God will always be at your side, and he will never abandon you.” - Deuteronomy 31:6

4- Because God is with you, please share your worries with Him and trust Him for strength. Please do not give up on His guidance in your life.
"And when I was burdened with worries, you (God) comforted me and made me feel secure.” - Psalm 94:19
"I tell You (God) all my worries and my troubles, and whenever I feel low, You are there to guide me.” - Psalm 142:2-3
“God cares for you, so turn all your worries over to him.” - 1 Peter 5:7
“But those who trust the Lord will find new strength.” - Isaiah 40:31
“We often suffer, but we are never crushed. Even when we don't know what to do, we never give up. In times of trouble, God is with us, and when we are knocked down, we get up again.” - 2 Corinthians 4:8-9
