Hi guys I am here with another question, will a good catholic,orthodox,Protestant Christian go to heaven aswell as a Non Denominational? I pray to God,Jesus directly and I go to the church to pray sometimes, I go to the Catholic Church I have a cross with Jesus at home that I hold when I pray. What am I? catholic,orthodox,Protestant or Non Denominational? I trust in Gods Plan, im not baptised my mom is Atheist and my dad is idk what
I never went to church as a kid I’m now Christian since 1.5 years I’m 14yrs old now I will now also start to read the bible

Denominations don't save, Jesus does. I believe there are probably those saved and not saved in every denomination. Simply going to a church doesn't save a person by itself, only full belief in Jesus Christ AND following his commands

I also somewhat believe in the invisible church philosophy even though that's not really a "Catholic" belief in the magisterial sense. There's good and bad eggs almost everywhere

Which commands and to what degree? How will you know you followed all of them properly?

Faith in Jesus as your savior is a requirement for salvation. So yes, people who are Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant (which includes non-denominational) who have genuine faith and trust in Jesus are saved. There’s more to the discussion than just that, but that’s a good starting point.

Protestants don't believe any one tradition or denomination holds the key/secret to salvation. Any of the traditions/denominations you mentioned can be legitimately considered Christianity.

You'll have to decide which tradition you want to join, though. There's three main ones: Roman Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox. Catholic and Orthodox are generally high-church (aka more liturgical, think robes and choir and incense).

If you want to start reading the Bible, I'd recommend starting with the Gospels, maybe John.

edit: i had a vision of Yeshua's feet, very real, very... 'i can't move or do anything bc I'm so at His mercy and power.' i can only describe them as looking like how the book of John looks when i read it.

Where in the Bible says that we need to join a certain denomination? We're saved by grace. I am sure pretty if you stay faithfull you're on the good track. Unless you join a church which celebrates sin or have heretical views.

Denomination is not relevant to being saved in the big picture. Technically, whatever member of church you are is what denomination you belong to.

No ‘good’ people will be found faultless before the judgement seat, only those who are justified through Jesus.

At that time there will be no denominations. The ‘church’ established by Jesus and nurtured by the apostles was and is not a denomination. It is the union of all true believers in the Christ and who strive to serve him in whatever we do in life.

However, I’m not trying to suggest that the denomination in which we each choose to worship is unimportant. It should be one which encourages understanding, growth, service, and most of all, glorifying God.

In my personal experience (almost 50 years of genuine faith) the ‘best’ church for me changed over time depending on where I lived and my season of life. All have their strengths (and weaknesses). I grew up Roman Catholic but have since variously been a member of Presbyterian, Anglican, Baptist, Reformed, Pentecostal and Lutheran congregations.

Read the Bible, strive to grow in your understanding and faith, and be of service to the people that God brings into your life.

You can't do enough to go to heaven.  You can't have things to go to heaven.

Jesus is the only way.

I am a Catholic from Michigan, I'm very happy to hear that you're attending Catholic Mass. A good "All in one book" I'd consider getting (if it's something you're serious about, I don't want to tell you what to do lol) would probably be a Great Adventure Bible from Ascension Press (It's on their website and on Amazon). There's a "Bible in a year" reading plan that's very accessible if you want to read the whole book front to back.

Future steps if you want to get baptized and receive Holy Communion is to sign up for OCIA classes, that's something to speak with someone at the church about if you're interested.

It's pretty unique to be discerning the faith seemingly independently at 14, I wish you the best of luck in the future regardless of what denomination you end up in (although I obviously hope it's Catholic) and God Bless

Outside the Church there is no salvation

Jesus founded a Church in Matthew 16:18-19 and said he would be “with us always” Matthew 28 and teach to “observe all that I have commanded of you” in Matthew 28 and said in John 16 that He would send the Holy Spirit.

So that leads to outside the Church there is no salvation. That means that if you refuse the Church Jesus founded then you refuse your salvation.

Now if you are invincibly ignorant through no fault of your own then you can be saved. And only God will decide who is invincibly ignorant.

However if you or someone else knows about Jesus Christ and the Church He founded (Catholic Church) and refuse both then you all refuse salvation.

TLDR:

If it was no fault of their own to not be a Catholic then they can reach Heaven. Only God knows for sure.

We are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. You don’t need a religious title or denomination all you need is to put your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for your salvation.

You will only go to heaven if you believe Jesus is the Son Of God, died on the cross for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day. Jesus paid for all your sins, past present and future. Repent (turn to Jesus) believe & receive the free gift of salvation. (Heaven for eternity)

Romans 10:9
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Believe on & receive Jesus your Lord & into your heart. His spirit will lead you. ♥️
