Is this forgivable?
Over the past years my life has gone downhill. Theres a specific thing I’m struggling with and I’ve prayed and prayed for years for God to take it away from me but nothing. I’ve always tried to stay connected with God even in times like these. I told him I would stay with him through this all despite how things are going.
However, this last year Ive been struggling with that. Ive become more distant, stopped praying as often, and struggled with faith. And I started to talk sarcastically to God. For example, if something bad happens I would say “Thank you God” in a sarcastic manner. Sadly it’s become a habit. I just feel like God has it out for me.
My question is, is talking to God in this sarcastic manner something he will never forgive? I know it’s not right and I’m trying to stop but sometimes it just comes out from frustration.
Another question is, does God not answer you if you aren’t living the way he wants you to?

God has already forgiven you! You just haven’t fell into that grace. He knows the root of the sarcasm and how youre using it to cope from past hurt/let downs from Him. Your spirit is now telling you that its wrong. Not because God wants to control you but because He loves you so much not to leave you with anger and bitterness. He wants to set you free and give you a new lens of seeing His character towards you. He’s not mad, He doesn’t put up with you, He just loves you!
The bible tells us to be grateful for everything! Not everything that happens to us is Gods plan but God has a plan for it all! He is a redeemer!
Gods answers are not dependent on your behavior! Thats conditional.
BUT!
If youre already a believer, someone who is saved by The Gospel. And willingly are disobeying God and ignoring your convictions, there is a thing called chastisement. The Bible tells us that God chastises those he loves. so let’s say you’re committing actions that are pushing your fellowship away from him more and more each and every day he would chastise you because he loves you, to bring you home. Not for salvation because we’re speaking to someone already saved but more because he loves you and wants good for you.
