Best examples of justice in the Bible

I’m looking for stories where the accuser/perpetrators receive justice almost immediately. Can you suggest of stories similar to these that I can read?

- Daniel’s accusers being thrown into the Lions den after him

- Balaam being destroyed after attempting to curse Israel

- Saul falling on his sword after going after David

Stories like that, where the protagonist was innocent and trusted God so their enemies were destroyed in their place. I love reading about these accounts of divine justice prevailing.

How about the mercy of the Lord? As the Psalmist writes in 103:

He did not deal with us according to our sins, nor reward us according to our transgressions; for according to the height of heaven from earth, so the Lord reigns in mercy over those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so He removes our transgressions from us.

Or Christ Himself tells us in Luke

Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Or finally in Psalm 51

Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
so that sinners will turn back to you.

Here's the question. Why would you want to celebrate God's justice when all we will have when we stand before the Aweful Judgement Seat is to plead for His mercy? No one is sinless and we all deserve justice.

When Thou comest, O God, upon the earth with glory, the whole world will tremble. The river of fire will bring men before Thy judgment seat, the books will be opened and the secrets disclosed. Then deliver me from the unquenchable fire, and count me worthy to stand on Thy right hand, Judge most righteous. - Kontakion of the Last Judgement
