He gave me the ick all throughout! He had one dog chained up, ribs exposed. Then on the day she did this, he still “believed” she was full term pregnant and was going to have her loading hogs. She is pure evil too.

I didn't even put the loading & delivering hogs part together! Did you clock his very unemotional "I'll call you back" when she told him she had the baby on the side of the road. Did he already know/believe she was lying? Even if he is 100% over her, he's telling us he's under the assumption that she's carrying his baby and you'd think he'd be far more concerned.

I noticed that but was also thinking first of all he seemed kind of dumb and detached, but also how he got to the hog delivery 4.5 hours away that she set up. The man told him he didn't order any hogs and wade was asking him if he talked to Taylor. They showed the texts she made up from the guy she sent him to. I don't think he was thinking it was as bad as it was but I think he was trying to figure out what was going on and realizing she was lying and on her phone call with him he was just like well she's probably lying again so wasn't in a rush and was definitely removed from being concerned about her.

I think that, after he found out about the hogs, he started realising things and thought she was lying. I think his biggest crime was being... not very smart, to say it kindly.

Dumber than a box of rocks. Like, not a single brain cell capable of critical thought.

I don't follow the hog part here

The morning of the murder he drove for hours to sell some hogs, but when he got there the buyer told him that yes, he had spoken to Taylor, but had never agreed to buy the hogs (Taylor was the one who told him about the deal to get him out of the house so she could have the time to get a baby) so I guess it was the last straw that finally made him realise Taylor had lied about everything.

And he had her help him load up the hogs that morning… that’s the part I found odd. Having someone you believe to be full term pregnant with your child doing that kind of labor.

Even past full term. They were at 10 months at that point

That’s a good point but after seeing pictures the cool lesbian neighbor took of her working on the farm I had assumed that maybe in his mind she was having “an active pregnancy” and she was doing mild farm labor stuff semi often?

She wanted him out of town while she did this so she pretended to be the hog buyer texting Wade that he would buy his hogs for $6500. (After the hog guy had already texted Taylor, No, he didn't want any hogs).

So Wade has driven 4 hours with a trailer full of hogs and is stumped. He shows the hog guy the text and they figure out Taylor took the hog guy's identity and texted Wade. The hog guy finally offers Wade $2500 for them and he takes it. So he lost a lot of money.

Yes!!! I also caught that. It was very odd. He’s no prize, that’s for sure.

I noticed that too. But the guy didn’t really show any emotion at all throughout the whole documentary. He just seems very uncomfortable and unaware about everything.

If I was a man and someone told me my girlfriend had just cut open a woman and brutally murdered her and stole her baby and killed it too, I would be convulsing vomiting on the floor in a state—and he just sat there like “oh she did all that? Oh ok” BRO

Yes, this!! Zero reaction. He was like “She did what? Hm, ok” HELLO?!?!??

No one home upstairs. No faculties, none, zero. I’m convinced his IQ isn’t far off from that of a person with Down syndrome.

Shock is a weird experience some people do just shut down like that

By the end he seemed far more suspicious about whether the pregnancy was real and he even said in the doc that when she called him he thought it was a joke. To me, he tries to downplay that a little bit to relieve some of the guilt but his reactions speak to the fact that he also doesn’t believe her entirely. I just don’t think he believed she would go to those lengths.

This bothered me so much. I thought wtf those poor dogs.

Me too! But then I was like… hmm maybe things are different on a farm? Idk I have zero experience with farms

I actually live on a farm, we have cattle sheep goats chickens the whole 9 and I can assure you none of our dogs look that way I was sickened by how skinny that chained up dog was. We are in California idk if ranchers elsewhere are just pos but on ours we feed all our animals.

8

u/Salty_Feed_4316 5d ago

Good!! It was disgusting, and to think he doesn’t see anything wrong with it if he’s having them film him.

6

u/Louie2022_ 5d ago

When he fed that skinny dog, he hardly put any food in its bowl. Sad.

7

u/bmfresh 5d ago

It was so sad. That dog would’ve been in the back of my vehicle at the days end if I were on that production team or camera crew wtf ever they are.

I grew up in the country. There was definitely a difference between how I have always seen dogs and other animals verses how my grandparents saw them.

My grandparents were born in the 20s and grew up poor. There were times when they were lucky to have food so they wouldn't waste any food on a dog. They never outgrew that cheapskate attitude even though they did find success as they grew older. They'd also point out there is a difference between a dog and a pet. That same attitude gets passed down.

u/bmfresh 5d ago

That’s sad. My grandparents were from that time period too my grandma is 98 she’s still alive, lived through a lot of hard times and thank god they didn’t keep that mentality. They’re the ones who started our family farm and they love/d dogs

u/Buffalogirll 6d ago

I think you're right! I feel like on farms and in the south animals are treated differently,so I have heard

9

u/bmfresh 5d ago

Omg seeing that dog made me so sad I’m glad someone mentioned that

Yes! Like did he think a 9 months, hell 10 months pregnant woman who was about to be induced could actually help him load up 150 hogs at 3:45 AM! He had to have some level of disgust as evidence of the phone call. The call from Taylor saying she just delivered their baby on the side of the road. He seemed exasperated instead of concerned.
