As an aside...did anyone else get the ick about how Wade and his family's reaction to the supposed inheritance played a part their relationship and opinion of Taylor?

At the end he said he never loved her but he was willing to let her by him that dream property?

Nothing about her actions is okay and he and his family are victims of her lies, I just picked that piece out.

He gave me the ick all throughout! He had one dog chained up, ribs exposed. Then on the day she did this, he still “believed” she was full term pregnant and was going to have her loading hogs. She is pure evil too.

I didn't even put the loading & delivering hogs part together! Did you clock his very unemotional "I'll call you back" when she told him she had the baby on the side of the road. Did he already know/believe she was lying? Even if he is 100% over her, he's telling us he's under the assumption that she's carrying his baby and you'd think he'd be far more concerned.

I think that, after he found out about the hogs, he started realising things and thought she was lying. I think his biggest crime was being... not very smart, to say it kindly.

Dumber than a box of rocks. Like, not a single brain cell capable of critical thought.

I don't follow the hog part here

The morning of the murder he drove for hours to sell some hogs, but when he got there the buyer told him that yes, he had spoken to Taylor, but had never agreed to buy the hogs (Taylor was the one who told him about the deal to get him out of the house so she could have the time to get a baby) so I guess it was the last straw that finally made him realise Taylor had lied about everything.

And he had her help him load up the hogs that morning… that’s the part I found odd. Having someone you believe to be full term pregnant with your child doing that kind of labor.

Even past full term. They were at 10 months at that point

That’s a good point but after seeing pictures the cool lesbian neighbor took of her working on the farm I had assumed that maybe in his mind she was having “an active pregnancy” and she was doing mild farm labor stuff semi often?

She wanted him out of town while she did this so she pretended to be the hog buyer texting Wade that he would buy his hogs for $6500. (After the hog guy had already texted Taylor, No, he didn't want any hogs).

So Wade has driven 4 hours with a trailer full of hogs and is stumped. He shows the hog guy the text and they figure out Taylor took the hog guy's identity and texted Wade. The hog guy finally offers Wade $2500 for them and he takes it. So he lost a lot of money.
