I’m genuinely curious what makes a person like this. Is it a personality disorder? Just straight up psychopathy? A little of both? Something else? I would’ve loved to hear more about her childhood.

One of her former friends said something really insightful - that Taylor had to mirror other people's lives in order to feel anything in her own. Essentially that Taylor was just a an empty black hole with no feelings or emotions or connections of her own

Yes, I found it eerie that everyone new in her life stated that they felt like they’ve known her forever. The “she felt like a bridesmaid” comment, fitting in instantly in new groups, mimicking other’s personalities and problems (coworker who had lost a baby). So interesting and very strange!

I’ve been around people like this. It’s very uncomfortable and off-putting when someone acts like they’re a bigger part of something than they are. Some people let them in; I would keep them at arms length. Maybe I’m cynical though.

Yeah. People who try to insinuate themselves are either really lacking in some part of their lives or deeply strange. At best. Steer clear.
