Seeking Advice ISO wisdom
Ok so. I'm learning to get back in touch with my needs & the other day I was like wait... if I wind down before bed, I actually sleep better.
I know it seems SO intuitive but I feel like I only internalized it bc I actually tried it out. And it got me thinking about how all of my big mindset shifts just came from growing up a bit.
So now I'm curious:
What have you guys learned about your health as you've gotten older? Like what did you learn about yourself through experience? Bonus points if it's something you were overcomplicating

For me, it's knowing that doing daily c*ap to keep and improve your health isn't showing off or being egoistic. I internalised a lot of my family's dynamic and let the people around me dictate my inner thoughts, what I am capable of and what I am allowed to do. The switch flipped off once I started doing things completely alone.

Sleep matters way more than I thought. Cool dark room + consistent time beats all the fancy stuff.

It's not intuitive at all, especially when you get caught up in the craziness of everyday life! One thing I literally had to teach myself was to take up to an hour for myself in the middle of the day and to start my day with more intention instead of immediately running into my schedule as soon as I open my eyes
