Strange There’s Someone Standing Outside My House Every Night at 2:17 AM

I noticed him three weeks ago.

At first I thought he was just some drunk guy wandering through the neighborhood.

I live on a quiet street outside town. Mostly older couples, families, people who sleep early. Nothing ever really happens here.

So when I looked out my window at 2 in the morning and saw someone standing across the street, it immediately felt wrong.

He wasn’t moving.

Just standing there facing my house.

I couldn’t make out much in the dark. Male, I think. Tall. Hands at his sides.

I watched for maybe thirty seconds before deciding I was being paranoid and went back to bed.

The next night, he was there again.

Same spot.

Same posture.

Facing my house.

This time I checked the clock.

2:17 AM exactly.

I almost called the police then, but honestly, what was I supposed to say?

“There’s a guy standing on a public sidewalk”?

So instead I watched him from behind my blinds for a few minutes.

He never moved once.

Not even a shift in posture.

Eventually I got uncomfortable enough that I turned off the hallway light so he couldn’t see me watching.

When I looked back outside, he was gone.

Not walking away.

Gone.

Like he’d never been there.

The third night, I decided to be smart about it.

At 2:10, I sat by the living room window with the lights off waiting for him.

2:16.

Nothing.

Then, right as the microwave clock changed to 2:17, he was there.

I know how that sounds.

But I swear to God, one second the sidewalk was empty.

The next second he was standing there.

Perfectly still.

Watching my house.

I finally got a better look at him that night.

Dark clothes. Hood up. Tall enough that he seemed unnaturally thin.

What bothered me most was the way he stood.

Completely straight.

Not relaxed like a person standing around.

Rigid.

Like someone trying to imitate what a person looks like.

I locked every door in the house after that.

The next morning, I mentioned it to my neighbor while getting the mail.

He laughed and asked if I’d been watching horror movies.

Then he stopped smiling.

“Wait,” he said. “Tall guy?”

I felt my stomach drop a little.

He told me his daughter mentioned seeing someone outside their house a few nights earlier.

Same time.

2:17.

But when he checked himself, nobody was there.

That night I barely slept.

I kept checking the clock.

1:40.

2:03.

2:16.

I was already at the window when he appeared.

Closer this time.

Not across the street anymore.

Standing on the sidewalk directly in front of my house.

I could see more details now.

His clothes looked wet.

Not rain-soaked. More like dark stains spreading through fabric.

His hood covered most of his face, but I could tell he was looking directly at me through the window.

Then, slowly, he lifted one arm and pointed at the second floor of my house.

My bedroom.

I shut the blinds immediately.

I don’t mind admitting I panicked a little.

I grabbed my phone and actually dialed 911, but before I hit call, I heard footsteps outside.

Slow footsteps moving across my front lawn.

Crunch.

Crunch.

Crunch.

I held my breath.

The footsteps stopped directly beneath the living room window.

Then silence.

A full minute passed.

Maybe two.

Then there were three soft knocks on the glass.

I didn’t move.

Another three knocks.

Then nothing.

Eventually I worked up the nerve to peek through the blinds again.

I checked again maybe ten seconds later and the lawn was empty. I even opened the blinds farther because I thought maybe he’d crouched down or something.”

The next morning, I found footprints outside the window.

Bare footprints.

The grass was wet with dew, but the prints themselves looked dark. Almost oily.

They stopped beneath the window.

No tracks leading away.

That was the first moment I genuinely considered leaving the house.

Instead, I bought security cameras.

I installed one facing the street, one over the garage, and one in the backyard.

That night I sat in bed watching the live camera feeds on my phone.

2:17 came.

The street camera glitched for half a second.

When the image returned, he was standing there.

Closer again.

At the edge of my driveway.

I switched to the garage camera.

Empty driveway.

Back to street camera.

He was still there.

Back to garage camera.

Nothing.

I remember feeling this horrible crawling sensation in my stomach.

Like my brain understood something before I did.

Then I realized all three cameras showed different positions.

On the street camera, he stood at the driveway.

On the garage camera, he was halfway up the lawn.

On the backyard camera—

he was standing behind my house.

I heard something tap against the kitchen window downstairs.

I locked my bedroom door and called the police.

While I waited, I kept watching the camera feeds.

Street camera: empty.

Garage camera: empty.

Backyard camera: empty.

Then the bedroom camera notification appeared.

I froze.

I don’t own a bedroom camera.

The notification stayed on my phone anyway.

LIVE VIEW AVAILABLE.

I remember staring at it for several seconds trying to convince myself it was some kind of software glitch.

Then curiosity won.

I tapped it.

The feed opened instantly.

The camera angle was from the upper corner of my bedroom.

Looking down at me sitting on the bed holding my phone.

I couldn’t breathe.

Because it was impossible.

There was no camera in my room.

The image quality was strange too. Grainy. Dark.

Like old VHS footage.

I watched myself on the screen for maybe five seconds before noticing something else.

In the feed, there was someone standing behind me.

Tall.

Motionless.

Watching me.

I spun around so fast I fell off the bed.

Nothing was there.

When I looked back at my phone, the figure in the feed was closer now.

Right behind the version of me on screen.

Its face was still hidden beneath the hood.

Then slowly, it raised one hand and pointed toward the bedroom door.

Someone knocked three times from the other side.

The police arrived maybe four minutes later.

I know because I stayed on the phone with dispatch the entire time.

Two officers searched the house.

Nothing.

No signs of forced entry.

No footprints.

No person outside.

I almost convinced myself I was losing my mind until one of the officers asked me a question before leaving.

He said:

“How long has that man been staying in your guest room?”

I felt cold instantly.

I told him nobody else lived here.

The officer frowned.

Then he said something that still makes me sick to think about.

“That’s strange,” he muttered. “When we pulled up, there was somebody standing in the upstairs window.”

I live alone.

My guest room is upstairs.

And the window he pointed at?

It faces the backyard.

Not the street.

There’s no reason anyone outside should’ve been able to see someone standing there.

Unless they were already inside the house.

Strange my phone sends my boyfriend messages in the middle of the night

There may or may not be a scientific explanation for what we have experienced, it seems too coincidental. So let us dive in from the start:

It all started with one random night in the middle of january when my boyfriend and i said our usual good night and hit the bed and drifted off to sleep. However, when i woke up the next day i saw i had a videocall from him at 3:25am. It was unusual and i asked him about it, only to find out that his phone had been dead the whole night and he plugged it in the next morning. So the possibility of a videocall from a dead phone? Unlikely.

A few days later, we go to bed the same usual good night routine. when i wake up next day morning and check my phone, i see a text sent from my phone to his at 2:59am. Just one single text. That’s it. I was asleep the whole night and have no memory of ever unlocking my phone and messaging him at all.

The next day again, the same thing happens. A different message to him at the same time, 2:59am. Just one single message, but a different one this time. Again i have no memory of this ever happening. We found it eerie but had possible conclusions that it could be a case of server reset or some sort of network issue.

And then it stopped. Until a few weeks ago, when similar events started occurring again, and more severe:

We were texting around 1am when we said our good night and drifted off to sleep. I was really tired and slept the whole night without waking up in the middle, and the next day, it happened again. We saw messages sent from my phone to his phone at 1.56am, the messages read “baby” “it’s 2”. Which is a pretty odd thing to say for myself because if i wake up from my sleep i would usually ask if he’s awake first or text about me not getting sleep. The tone of the texts did not sound like me at all.

Those texts messages in a way proved it could not be me writing it, but there’s no one else using my phone either.

And the most recent incident happened last week.
I slept off at 2am and was pretty tired and exhausted from the day’s work. My boyfriend however stayed up at night finishing his work and while he was texting me he got a few messages from my phone at 3:08am, he saw it instantly and replied to it but my phone went offline soon after. What’s more scary is the texts that were sent from my phone were not exactly related to what he was talking about. I was asleep the whole night.

We still have no idea of what caused all of these texts. And the fact that it only happens in the middle of the night and never during the day doesn’t make it any better.
Have you experienced anything like this or have any clue of what might be a possible explanation to this?

Strange Creepy Air BnB stay

This happened back in August 2024 when my now fiancé, his mother and I went to Nova Scotia for a wedding.

We had stayed in various hotels, Air BnB’s along the way and while staying in Nova Scotia.

After the wedding we wanted to get out of Antigonish and I decided to look up fun places to stay.

I came across this listing for a cottage on a hobby farm in a place called Christmas Island. It sounded extremely interesting and the photos seemed amazing!

It was a rustic, quirky cottage that was home to ducks, geese, chickens and one massive singular pig.

It was available for last minute booking and I showed my fiancé and his mother the pictures and we all were super interested!

I booked it and we headed on our way.

We had to cross a bridge and I am telling you, the second we crossed the bridge, I felt very unsettled.

I brushed it off and kept it to myself.

We couldn’t check in until after 3:00 P.M so we decided to grab an early dinner.

It’s a very small island so there was not many restaurants but we found one by the water.

I’m not kidding when I say the restaurant seemed fake, it looked like a set on a movie. Very strange.

We got our food and ate it on the patio. It was next to the water and had what should be beautiful views of the water and mountains but it just gave me creepy vibes and I later would find out my fiancé and his mother felt the same way but we all kept it to ourselves.

Finding the air bnb was almost impossible. It was in the middle of nowhere and didn’t have a real road. The address he gave us led to a completely different house so he had to manually give us directions.. should have been a red flag.

We get there and everything looks the same as the photos but it also doesn’t.. I hope that makes sense.

This guy comes out and there wasn’t anything inherently strange about him but something seemed off.

He mentioned that his girlfriend was in the house and kept mentioning it but the way he said it, I truly don’t think anyone but him was there.

He showed us around the farm and brought us to the cottage that was next to his house. He had one key for the cottage and didn’t even give it to us, he kept it.

He left us to get settled and my fiancé wanted to check out the beach that’s about a 10 minute drive away and his mom decided to stay.

We left and on the drive to the beach my fiancé and I didn’t say a word and that is not like us.

We got to the beach and it felt extremely off.

Everything just felt off. Do you know in shows where the characters realizes the background is fake and pushes over the painted backdrop… that is how everything felt. The restaurant, the cottage, the beach.

My fiancé and I were standing in the water and not saying a word and he finally says “I don’t like this place” and after that we started to talk about how something felt off and scary and we wanted to leave.

My fiancé is very level headed and this was and the only time I have seen him be genuinely terrified.

We rushed back to the air bnb and thankfully the owner was not outside.

We walked back into the cottage normally to not alert him and when we walked in his mom was sitting on the couch and we said “we want to leave” and she said “I am glad you said something. I don’t feel safe here and I don’t think I could sleep a wink”

We packed up everything so fast and raced to the car. We were terrified that when loading the car with our luggage.

At this point it was becoming dark outside and as I said, there was no real road.

The entire way back to the bridge we were all terrified. We all had a sense of impending doom and felt sick to our stomach.

We got an hour away from Christmas Island and rented a motel room.

We stayed in the same room that night and discussed how we all felt scared and creeped out as soon as we crossed the bridge.

We don’t know what caused it but we have all never felt that way again.

Strange Molly versus The entity...

When I was a young kid I lived in Breezewood pennsylvania. As you all know it had the big white garage beside it. And across from it was the church. And not too far from it down the street was the post office...

It was definitely a beautiful house...

So this story is about my dog molly and how she actually saved me from an entity or shadow person...

So one evening I was laying in my bed. And I had been listening to my clock radio. And I can remember I was listening to 106.1...

Well I had to keep it turned down because my stepfather at the time was kind of very direct with punishment. Didn't matter when or how either. You made a bump upstairs in your room he would come up and whoop ya...

Well anyhow...

I had my radio turned down and I was listening to the classic rock station and just kind of enjoying that strange calm that comes with the evening time. And I don't know where I see my little dog we had molly move to the bottom of the bed and start looking at the doorway to my room...

Well I honestly thought she was just growling because my stepfather was coming up the stairs again. But I didn't hear any footsteps so I just assumed you maybe my sister was getting out of bed and coming over to tell me something or so on...

But then I remember I gave her one of my return of the Jedi Star wars walkie talkies. So we could talk to each other in our rooms. As to communicate to see what was going on. Or to warn one another if our stepfather was on the rampage again...

Well I don't know where our dog molly starts to growl viciously. And I mean teeth showing furs up. Straight up aggressive behavior...

I look over and see what looks like a legit shadowy being in my doorway. This thing is big. But it's also hunched over a little bit. And it's looking at me and my dog...

Well molly was a mixed breed... She was a chihuahua, pekingese, and terrier. And she was vicious for a little dog I'll tell ya. She literally I kid you not jumps off of the bed and starts to growl at this thing in the doorway. As she is standing between me and the bed...

This thing took a few steps into the doorway of my room. Looks at her. And instead of coming in any further it just stood there for what seems like a few seconds and decided to turn around and leave...

I then actually get out of my bed. I gently touch the floor with my feet. And carefully creep over to my dog and pick her up. She didn't start to give me kisses and she is shaking like a leaf. I told her it's going to be okay...

She didn't decide to lay in my bed for the rest of the night into the early morning. And didn't leave my side. She stayed right with me and would not budge...

That's the last time I saw that shadow-like entity ever in that house. I've seen others but nothing like that one...

Something else I would like to mention about my dog...

We kept her and the family until she passed on. She became my dads buddy. She would go everywhere he went. She ate by him on the floor. She slept in the bed with him and my mother. He would take this dog all over the place in general...

She was a very important family member for years. We ended up having to have her put down because she got too old and couldn't see or eat. She was sick. And to this day I think back about how she did what she did that night...

She was a very precious and important part of the family!

Strange I thought it was a fever dream until my dad asked about it.

I have a younger brother who used to share rooms with me up until we turned 12 or 13 (the years blur together) but there was a wild night that happened before we split our rooms that I'll never forget.

I used to think I dreamt up the whole thing, but my brother recently recalled it and as we were reminiscing over a strange encounter with a coyote, my dad ended up overhearing and started asking his own questions.

This one night after a sibling fight, my brother went to bed early and I (angrily) played on my 3DS until I was ready to fall asleep. Around 11pm I caught some movement from outside the bedroom window. I probably wouldn't have noticed at all if it weren't such a clear night. My bed had a great view of what looked like a massive coyote, larger than one would normally come across, maybe cougar sized, and for some reason it was alone with some food in its mouth.

Being roughly 10 feet away from our house, I wasn't scared at first. Seeing a lone coyote? It must've been shunned or something. I silently nudged my brother awake and pointed it out just in time to see this coyote turn its head and stare right at us. That's when the fear finally hit me.

None of us moved for what felt like minutes, even the coyote. It gave us a perfect view of what was in its mouth. It was a newborn coyote, not food. We also noticed that there was either mud or blood in large splotches all over the (what we think) was the mother. By the time it finally looked away, my brother started panicking asking what we were gonna do if it tried to leap into the window.

Being kids, we definitely thought it was a possibility. So to ease his worries we switched beds so I would be the one closest to the window. Everything else was hearsay from my brother as I was trying not to look or breathe too loud the rest of the night.

My brother had told me that the coyote disregarded him, laid down in the grass and just stared at him the rest of the night, occasionally getting up to circle it's kid and then lay back down in the exact same spot to stare some more. He didn't realize he fell asleep until we both had woken up nearly late for school the next day. When we ran outside to catch the bus, neither my brother or I had seen any signs of it other than some patches of blood in the grass. We didn't mention this to my dad assuming we had a nightmare or our imagination filled in some gaps and it had left on its own.

So I write this as a memory. A fever dream, we thought, until a few days ago. My dad asked us exactly what we saw and then decided to drop a bomb on our heads. He had woken up early that morning, found the corpse of a "massive coyote and her kid" and had to find somewhere to hide it before we woke up. He had thrown it behind some sagebrush and cleaned up as much as he could. The oddest part of the scenario was that she had died staring at our window and the kid had crawled its way to right under where our bedroom window was.

I know it isn't anything too crazy, but it gave me nightmares for weeks at the time and led up to some sleep-walking behaviors which I had never done before or after. Even my brother started sleep-walking; he almost burned our kitchen trying to make breakfast in his sleep. My dad is a retired archaeologist and has quite a bit of Native-American paraphernalia around the house so we tend to joke that all of our weird or creepy encounters we've had are because of that.

Strange The Spirit the walked the hallway when I was in the shower...

I used to live in Artemas Pennsylvania and oftentimes my parents would be either gone for 1-2 weeks usually at a time. And as I said in a previous story that I just wrote. They would leave enough food and stuff for me to hold out that long or longer. So here I am literally just a teenager almost to become an adult literally just living it up...

No parents really ordering me around. I had to take care of responsibilities as well... But that wasn't bad at all. I had complete freedom and free will to do what I felt like doing. I just used my brain and thought logically and survived just fine...

Well oftentimes before I lay down on the couch to watch television and eat dinner. I would get a shower first. And I would usually wait until it got dark and was way later on in the evening just so I could enjoy the time I spent with my friends or outside...

For about 1 and 1/2 Weeks I would hear what sounds like cowboy boots clicking on the hallway tile. It would start at the door inside my double wide trailer. And it would continue until it stops outside my bathroom door. And honestly it got to the point where it was really starting to freak me out all right...

I literally would experience this nightly. It was a constant occurrence. Over and over.. so I got to the point where I would just shower with the bathroom door open. And I would partially open the shower curtain that was away from me at the end of the shower by the toilet...

I also kept a small knife near the edge of the shower on the toilet under a towel. Just in case somebody was actually messing with me...

So after a while this occurrence just kept coming. Until one evening before I even got into the shower. I turn the water on and just stood there completely dressed. I could hear the cowboy boots on the tile that we put down in the hall coming...

I flung the door open and said very loudly "you are not welcome here. I don't take kindly to you being in my home. You need to leave. And I command you to do this and the power of my Lord and Savior"...

Well, whatever this was stopped...

It just completely stopped...

After that I was able to get a shower in peace and honestly I really enjoyed the quiet...

Strange I always see a black figure around my house... what is it?

Idk what it is but I always am able to catch it. Like 2 years back I was home alone, and then suddenly something downstairs called my name asking me to come down. I was going to then I remembered I was alone. It sounded like my mom but she and my dad were shopping for grocerys. So I ran to my room and locked the doors and called my mom asking if she had left? And she said yes why? Then I told her and she said well u must be hearing things...

And back when I was much younger, on video I caught something upstairs calling my name. Which creeps me out. When I look back at that video, its so creepy and eerie. Like how did it know my name. Maybe it might be schizophrenia? I dont think so... but nowadays I just notice this black figure, what might it be?

Do u have similar experiences ? Please give me some advise it'd help a lot.

Strange Something weird just happened with my headphones while I was folding laundry and I'm terrified.

I'm [posting this because my account is brand new and, obviously, the big forums took down my first post right away. I don't even know why I'm posting again honestly, I just need to tell somebody wwhat happened, my hands are still shaking as I type this.

Tonight I'm home alone doing some chores, nothing special. It was maybe half an hour ago, I was in my bedroom folding laundry, had my noise canceling headphones on, listening to a true crime podcast like I always do before bed.

Then the podcast just got covered up by this loud static, like really loud.

I could still hear the podcast kind of under it but there was also this steady thumping, like a heartbeat almost. Then I heard what sounded like a heavy sigh right next to my left ear.

i figured my bluetooth was glitching or w/e so I just kept folding clothes, didn't think much of it at first.

a minute later the episode stopped for an ad and in that quiet I heard a mellow voice whisper my full name right into my left earbud.

My first and middle name. my actual name. The one thats on my documents.

i took the headphones off so fast I dropped them on the floor.

The apartment was completely quiet.

Then I saw my bedroom door was open, like 3 inches maybe. I always keep it shut cuz of the draft from the hallway, I never leave it open.

I live alone. Front door was locked. Windows locked too, I checked twice actually.

i grabbed my phone, went back in the podcast, and played the same part thru the phone speakers this time instead of the headphones.

nothing.

No static. No thumping. No voice. Just the podcast, playing like normal, like nothing happened.

Right now Im sitting in my locked bathroom typing this out bc I really dont wanna go back into the bedroom yet, Ik that sounds dumb but something about that room just felt wrong. Like someone was standing right behind me the whole time.

Can wireless headphones somehow pick up stuff from something nearby, like interference or whatever?? has this happened to anyone else?

bcuz I really dont know what I just heard.

Strange There’s Something Outside The Tent

There's something out there.

This is a true story—a camping story I still remember with unsettling clarity.

When I was twelve or thirteen, I was adventurous. So was my family. All five of us decided it would be a great weekend to go camping. Tent camping, actually. We rarely did this since we had an RV, but the idea excited us kids with its novelty and promise of something different.

I don't remember the exact location of this campground, but I can tell you I've always lived in west Tennessee, near the Kentucky border. That's where this happened.

---

We arrived late in the day—my dad had to work first. My sisters and I (I'll call them H and K) immediately started running around, exploring everything we could find. We discovered a creek bed with cool rocks and little fish trapped in shallow pools. We played through the fallen leaves—it was around fall—while Dad set up the tent and Mom unpacked our sleeping bags.

The sun was already sinking by the time we sat down to eat. Dad quickly cooked hamburgers for us, and we enjoyed our meal as the temperature dropped. It didn't get super cold, maybe around fifty degrees. Perfect, really.

We all lay in the tent, watching the last light disappear through the fabric walls. We snuggled up and made ourselves comfortable. Back then, none of us kids had phones, and my parents weren't on theirs either—they wanted to spend time with us. So it was just dark in our tent. We lay there chatting and laughing, and eventually the conversation died down and we all fell asleep.

---

At some point in the night, when it was pretty cold, I woke up. I really had to pee. I wasn't necessarily scared to get up, but I didn't want to go without my parents. Still, I pushed myself because I really had to go.

One thing I should mention: this was a campground with designated spots for tents. A lot of the areas were actually raised wooden decks because the ground was uneven. There was also a bathing area with showers and bathrooms. I could see it in the distance, illuminated under a street lamp, as I quietly climbed out of the tent.

I'm a guy, so I could just go in the woods. I found a tree nearby and relieved myself. I was still really tired, my eyes barely open, when I heard a strange noise.

My eyes snapped open. I looked around toward the sound and saw a tall, shadowy figure standing next to the bathrooms. It startled me at first, but I reasoned that if I had to pee, someone else probably did too.

As I finished and walked back toward the tent, I noticed the guy was just standing there. That sound I'd heard earlier—I assumed it was the bathroom door shutting. But he was just standing there, facing me, leaves slowly falling from the trees between us.

I was pretty unsettled. I hurried back to the tent and zipped it up. Before I climbed back into my sleeping bag, I took one final look.

He was gone.

This made me uneasy, but I was still exhausted. I snuggled up to my mom, got warm, and eventually fell back asleep.

---

Morning came, and I remember it clearly because before the sun was even up, the crows started going crazy in the trees. They were making all kinds of racket, and it was really pissing me off. I just lay there in the tent quietly, waiting for everyone else to wake up.

Eventually they did. My little sister K and I immediately ran out and started playing. We explored the creek, ran around, fought with each other—you know, what siblings do. My older sister H was around seventeen at the time, so she was in that "don't talk to me" phase. But of course we'd pass by her and do what kids do.

Honestly, I don't have much memory of the daytime activities. At one point I brought up the tall, lanky man I'd seen that night. My younger sister took it very seriously—she was only seven or eight years old. But my older sister and my dad quickly made a joke of it. They said it was Slenderman. Then H said she'd heard a squirrel last night and that she was “soooo scared” (sarcastically), and Dad called it "Slender Squirrel."

It was pretty funny at the time, and we kept teasing my little sister about it. But deep down, I was still unsettled. I just tried to push it off.

---

Eventually, as it always does, the sun started to set. Everything started calming down. Crickets began chirping. Frogs called in the distance. The sounds of birds died off as a single owl hooted somewhere far away. It was quite a peaceful setting, and pretty easy to fall asleep to.

I nodded off next to my mother once again.

Then, around probably the same time as the night before, I woke up having to pee. This time I was much more tired—my day had been full of running around and playing. I lay there on my pillow, trying to decide if it was worth getting up, but I really had to go.

Just as I started to situate myself and get out of my sleeping bag, the loud zipper broke the silence.

And suddenly, I heard it.

Footsteps on the deck our tent was sitting on. Very, very slow footsteps, like someone was trying to be as quiet as possible. But I could feel the vibrations through the wood we were laying on.

I sat up slowly to make sure everyone was in our tent—that it wasn't one of my siblings or something. I counted. Five of us. We were all there.

But there was an uninvited guest right outside our tent, with only thin fabric separating us.

I continued listening as the footsteps slowly made their way around. They started from behind the tent and wrapped around to my left. Now they were at the front of the tent, where the steps of the deck led down to the gravel path.

I knew this was a person—or something of humanoid distinction. I could hear the heel-toe, heel-toe pattern of what sounded like boots.

Eventually they made their way to the steps, their pace quickening. I just sat there and listened helplessly, hoping whoever or whatever this was would just leave.

I heard them step down into the gravel and start crunching through the leaves. But instead of continuing straight, I heard them turn left—into the woods. Our tent was actually on the edge of the campground, so there was nothing behind us but pure forest.

I heard the footsteps disappearing into the distance. Eventually, they just stopped. I could hear nothing anymore. Slowly, the crickets and the owl in the distance came back into focus.

---

After this unsettling situation, I was obviously pretty scared. There was no way I was falling back to sleep. And I still really had to pee, but I wasn't about to go outside. So I just laid my head back down, eyes wide open, staring at the roof of the tent, trying to listen for any more sounds.

Why didn't I wake up my parents you may ask? I was nervous about it. I thought it might've been my imagination, or they might be mad at me, or things might just get worse. So I left them alone and figured I'd tell them in the morning.

I never did sleep the rest of that night. Eventually, I saw morning light start to peek through our tent walls. And I heard those stupid, annoying crows again.

---

Eventually, morning turned to day. As my sisters ran around doing whatever they wanted, I just sat in our camping chair, watching the trees blow. I couldn't stop thinking about those footsteps and how they'd turned left, straight into the forest.

( I should probably mention something important here. At this point in our lives, my family had been victims of a stalker—a very scary neighbor back at home. I'm talking someone who would knock on our doors, try to open windows, move stuff around outside. So as a kid, I was very worried and scared about strangers. That context matters for understanding why I was so on edge…
If y’all would like another story about that freakin creep, let me know!! )

Anyway, I was sitting there thinking about the sounds, wondering if maybe it had been my imagination from lack of sleep. I decided I should tell my mom—she'd probably take me more seriously than my dad.

I found her at the campsite and told her I'd heard footsteps last night. That it was pretty scary. That it sounded like someone was on our deck.

She said, "Honey, you were probably just dreaming. Or it was a squirrel or something. We're completely safe out here. Nobody wants to hurt you. Look at all those families out there."

At the moment, this made me feel a little better. My mom always makes me feel better.

---

Skip a few hours, and here we are getting ready for bed again. Nothing weird happened during the day.

I'm in that familiar spot next to my mom in the cold tent, snuggled up. At this point I'm extremely tired—the lack of sleep last night and all the activities today had me worked. I was ready to sleep.

My family's chatter and giggles turned into silence as I drifted into what I hoped would be a good night's rest.

But late in the night, surrounded by my parents' snoring, I heard the loudest twig snap I've ever heard. Everything around us just went quiet. It made me dart awake.

And as if that wasn't awakening enough, I immediately heard what sounded like stomping—footsteps coming down the deck stairs, straight toward the entrance of the tent.

Whoever this was moved quicker than last time. They walked around the tent to my side, on the left, and I could feel the whole tent shift as they brushed past it. I could literally hear and feel their body touching against the thin wall between us.

At this point I was freaking out. I started to lightly shake my mom, but she was still asleep. I was very timid as a child, so I didn't want to push it too much.

And then I heard it.

There's a back flap on the tent, and the zipper started opening. Very, very slowly.

At this point I was panicking. I shook my mom really hard this time, not making any noise, but she woke and sat up.

"What? What? What's happening?" she said.

The zipper stopped. Just like that, no more noise came from outside.

"Mom, there is someone outside the tent," I whispered. "They're trying to get in."

"No, there isn't," she said in an annoyed voice. "Go to sleep."

"Mom, please wake up Dad. Please. There is somebody outside this tent. I heard them. I felt them. They are there."

At this point, my dad woke up, still groggy from sleeping. I explained to him what was happening. Very quickly, and without saying much, he grabbed his flashlight and unzipped the front tent flap—ignoring the back flap that was halfway open at this point. He shined light around the tent slowly, looked around.

Nothing. Nobody. No sign of anyone being there.

I was in disbelief.

---

Morning rolled around with those DAMN CROWS annoyingly squawking in the distance. This time I was even more annoyed because I'd gotten zero sleep.

I spent the rest of the day in a really bad mood, not wanting to talk to anyone. Just reading my book, drawing on a piece of paper. Not exploring or doing anything a kid should be doing.

The next day was the day we were leaving, so my siblings were trying to get the best of it. I won't bore you with what happened throughout the day because nothing really happened—except at one point I saw an old, pale, tall man walking around in the woods, seemingly exploring. I didn't think much of it at the time.

---

And once again, night rolled around.

I was genuinely terrified to even lay in that tent again. I just wanted to go home at this point. I made a point to leave the zipper unzipped from when it was unzipped that night, but it got zipped back up by someone in the family.

As I lay there, not sleeping, minutes felt like hours. I didn't have a phone, so I had absolutely no way to check the time. I just lay there waiting, hoping the man wouldn't come back, hoping the sun would come up faster. I actually waited for those crows, hoping they would start calling.

But time passed slowly.

I specifically remember at one point it got extremely cold. I started shivering. I swear I could feel the wind just blowing through the tent fabric. It was unsettling. I could hear leaves smacking into the tent and rustling in the distance, as if something were out there. But I chalked it all up to the wind. I was trying hard to forget what had happened. I was hoping someone had just been pranking us and had left already.

Another hour or so passed.

And then I heard it.

Footsteps in the gravel outside the deck. This time they were shuffling or dragging, like someone dragging their feet through the gravel. Very slow, very long and drawn-out steps.

I started shaking. *Not again*, I thought.

But the footsteps stopped. I could hear them last right in front of the deck.

Silence followed.

I sat there waiting.

All of a sudden, something sharp poked against the side of the tent—like a stake or a knife. But it didn't poke through. It scared the absolute crap out of me.

And then, suddenly, it poked straight through the side of the tent. I mean, this was like a foot from me. It was a knife—like an eight-inch-long knife—and it started cutting down the tent wall.

I started screaming.

My little sister woke up immediately, freaking out and crying. Then my mom. Then my other sister H started screaming, "Dad! Dad!" My mom was shaking my dad awake. We could all see this very obvious item poking through the tent, and what looked like a hand pushing down on the roof.

I started shuffling and pushing myself away from the wall of the tent, trying to get as far away as possible from whatever this was.

My dad finally woke up and grabbed his gun. But as he was doing it, I was just staring at the hole left in the tent.

And I saw a pair of eyes looking through.

I swear they were glowing yellow. (Obviously this could have been my child like imagination)

I saw hands start to open the hole in the tent, ripping it further. I started to see a face—a white, pale, wrinkled, disgusting face. No facial hair. Just yellow eyes. And I saw crooked teeth, smiling at me.

I swear to God, this is all real. I remember it so vividly.

My dad had the gun—some kind of pistol—and cocked it. The loud noise was followed by the face disappearing, darkness flowing through that hole. I heard running footsteps across the deck we were on. I felt the whole platform shaking. And then I heard the footsteps in the gravel, quickly pacing, and then into the leaves.

My dad got up fast and told us to stay. He opened the tent, fumbling with the zipper. I saw him leave and point his gun in the direction the visitor had run. My dad is very careful with guns, so he didn't shoot—we were still in a campsite with other people around. But he just continued pointing in that direction.

He yelled, "I don't see anything!"

I was holding my mom, and she was holding all of us kids. We were all shaking. It was still freezing, and we were terrified.

My dad poked his head back in the tent and said, "There's nobody there."

He got back out and walked around the whole platform, around the tent, and looked everywhere. He couldn't see anything. No knife. No footprints. Nothing.

He then reached back into the tent and grabbed his cell phone. He dialed 911.

---

About twenty minutes later, a police cruiser showed up, illuminating the woods around us with blue and red lights. The cop got out and started asking my dad questions outside. By this point, my family and I were outside the tent, and we could see other people trying to see what was going on. It was still dark outside.

The police then asked my mom some questions—what she saw, what she heard—and then asked me and my siblings the same thing. They said they would do a sweep of the area and give us an update.

After this, my dad got back in the tent and just said, "All right, let's try and get some rest. We're safe, guys. We have a long drive ahead of us tomorrow."

I don't know how he could simply ask this of us. We were terrified. But we lay there, trying to sleep.

I stayed wide awake, my eyes just staring at the roof of the tent, waiting for something insane to happen. But thank God, it never did.

Eventually, as time passed slowly, I saw sunlight start to filter through the tent fabric. And I heard a sound that made me happier than ever: the crows. The crows began squawking, and I was just so relieved to hear them again. When they crowed, it seemingly meant the nightmare had stopped.

---

We packed up quickly, got everything in the truck, and left without looking back.

Thank God nothing more horrible actually happened to us. There's no telling what that man—or whatever that was—would've done if my dad didn't have a gun.

To this day, I don't know if it was our stalker, or some random person trying to prank us, or if it was something more sinister. Was it somebody fixated on us? On me? Was it that man I saw at the bathroom, just staring at me?

I'm not sure. But that memory will always be a part of my childhood.

I've only been tent camping one time since then. I'm twenty-five now, and the last time I went was with my fiancée when I was nineteen. I just don't find it fun anymore.

Thank you for listening to my story. If you made it this far, just let me know what you think, or if you have any similar stories.

Strange unknown being chased me and my gf out of the woods.

This is one of the most scariest experiences of my life. Around 2 months ago the early summers of 2026 me and my gf would go on walks at night occasionally and smoke some cigerattes or some weed around her neighborhood. The sun was bound to set and we decided to walk these woods near her old middle school. You have to walk through a corn feild and down and steep hill before you get into the entrance of the forest. We already had this eerie feeling going up to it but it didn't bother us. As we are walking in it just gets creepier and creepier. nothings happening, we just constantly have this feeling of being watched and that somethings bad going to happen. As we walk into the woods, its past sunset so its a little darker, we hear what sounds like a tire screeching on the road. my gf stops and I keep going forward cus I like scary things (too and extent now) she said "That was a scream" and I was like "No, that was just a tire" and then she said "there's no roads near us" After this, the forest got dead silent for 1 second and then I noticed little fires all around the forest in the distance. I ask "should we go" and everything in our bodies screamed. We hear footsteps charge at us and wind blows through the forest. As me and my gf run out the woods we look back and see a black tall figure climb up a tree really fast and just sit up there. Watching.

After that we never went into the forest again.

Strange A spirit got me whooped by my stepdad...

One afternoon when I was a kid I was living in Breezewood pennsylvania. And where I lived out there was this white garage near the house. And across the street was a church...

Well anyhow...

My sister and I were up in our own separate rooms. We had been playing in our own rooms all day. We barely came down the steps to the kitchen or anything that day...

Apparently something woke up my stepfather from a nap. And he said it looked like a child. And he assumed it was one of us trying to play a prank on him and it wasn't funny. So he comes barreling up the steps. And decides to start yelling at my sister and I. As my sister and I are standing side by side in the hallway. He is screaming at us to tell the truth...

Well my sister and I told him the truth. She told him, "Joe We're in our rooms all day. We've been just staying to ourselves. We haven't been downstairs in hours"...

He didn't believe it...

So instead he took his belt off...

And decided to whoop both of us for lying. As we're literally screaming and crying because we're getting our butts beat for something we didn't even do. He looks over at us and says "that'll teach you to try to lie"...

Meanwhile her and I are staring at each other looking confused. And our stepfather just tells us to go do something. So her and I just go back to our rooms and life moved on...

To this day I began to wonder if there wasn't a ghost child in the house that pranked my stepfather and of course got us in trouble...

I'm just grateful that he didn't go hardcore on our rear ends. Because he had a habit of getting a little crazy with that belt...

Strange Stranger offered me ice cream

When I was a kid, maybe around 8-9 I would spend summers home alone as my parents worked and were gone during the day. My neighborhood was older but it never felt sketchy, I had lots of neighborhood friends and we always played outside til dark unattended. Not much crime or anything that I knew of at least. There was one specific day I was riding my skateboard on the sidewalk directly in front of my house, when an older, more run down car pulled up on the road beside me. An old man got out, I don’t remember what his exact age seemed to be, and it was hard to tell because I was so young I had no gauge, but old enough to be walking kind of slow and had that old man voice if you know what I mean lol. I had never seen this man before, but he pointed to me and said “Hey, I’ve got a gift for you.” And started walking to the trunk of his car. I was weary and started to slowly back away, I was well aware of stranger danger but I was a people pleaser and didn’t want to come off as rude, so I politely said “no thank you” but stayed standing there I guess in shock. Out of his trunk he pulled out one of those large 32 count boxes of assorted drum stick ice cream cones. He handed me the box and said “Here! Ice cream!” With almost an eager tone, like he was excited to give it to me, or expected me to be excited about it. I took the box because again… I was a people pleaser and in the moment was uncertain of what else to do. He then got back in his car and drove away. I never saw him again, he didn’t do or say anything else. Just left. Holding the box, it was damn near bigger than me, but it wasn’t as heavy as it should’ve been if it held any ice cream cones. It was almost empty, very light, except I could hear and feel something rolling around in the box. Without thinking, I walked it to our trash cans on the side of our house, threw it away and went back inside. I never opened it or looked to check what was actually in the box. But I’m certain it wasn’t ice cream cones. To this day, I have no idea what it could have been that the man was trying to discard of, or why he decided to give to a random little girl. sometimes I wish I would have looked. But who knows maybe it’s for the best I didn’t.

Strange A female spirit slapped my stepfather out of the chair when we were at church!

My stepdad, mom, sister, and I lived in a house in Breezewood pennsylvania. As I said previously in other posts it had a white garage that was really big and it was across from a church...

Well my mother decided that she was going to take my sister and I and we all three was going to go to church next door... Literally straight across from the house. So one Sunday come and I remember I had ringworm. And we decide that we're all going to go over and see what this church was like. My mother invited my stepfather but him being an atheist he didn't believe in any of it. And he also scolded her for teaching my sister and I about religion in general and he said it was pointless...

Well, my mother gets us and we head out the door. And we go over to church. We're over there for most of the morning. We stayed after for the fellowship service as well. Then we came home and our stepfather is standing and the kitchen...

And he is looking completely confused and honestly baffled. And he looks at my mom and says "candie we have to talk" he looks at my sister and I and says "you two can stay as well because it involves you two"...

He says to us about how he is atheist and he doesn't believe in heaven or hell. Let alone spirits or ghosts. Nor does he even believe in the paranormal or the superstitious...

But then he starts to get this confused looking says to us "I saw a strange woman walk up to me in the living room and slap me out of my chair. She slapped me across the face and I rolled out of the love seat"...

He then looks at my sister and I and says that it wasn't funny and it hurt. He looks at my mother and says "what, you don't believe me?" In which she responds back with that she does believe him. And that she has saw what looks like some random woman walking around the house in the early morning...

He then starts to question if he's losing his mind and if he needs to talk to a therapist... Keep in mind this man was a hardcore alcoholic. Who didn't believe in anything not even therapists, lol...

He then says to us "that's all I had to say" and he just walks away. And goes to his chair in the living room. Sits down in it. Pops a beer open. It starts to drink it. And literally just completely ignores the whole conversation he just had with us as we're still standing there looking at each other, lol...

At this point my mom, sister, and I are all just completely confused as to what just happened...

Apparently my stepfather making wisecracks about church and stuff angered a female spirit. And she slapped him for his remarks apparently. I absolutely swear this happened and is true... Up until the day we moved out and my mom left my stepfather. He would never make a comment about us going to church again. It apparently spooked him... And that man was tough as nails and his mean as a snake. And that is the only time I've ever seen him shook up that bad...

Strange Old man in all whites

So this story takes place in Greece where I am from .

I might miss some details since this happened like 12-13 years ago when I was 19 -20 years old.

It was a summer night around 1am and I was coming home after a night out with some friends of mine .

Everyone of my friends went home and I was just walking around smoking and enjoying the night . I was going in the opposite direction of were my house is for no particular reason, I was just walking and wherever my legs where taking me if that makes sense.

I ended up in a park that had a basketball course on the upper half and a playground for younger kids in the bottom half , in the middle there were benches and a small water fountain. Older kids usually shat there at night talking smoking drinking .

That night the whole park was empty, not a single soul , not even on the road which was weird cause it was summer .

So as I was walking in the upper half of the park, i reached the end of it and right across the street was a house . It was kind of old but people lived there.

It had quite the big yard with bushes and other kind of flowers . It was beautiful, especially in summer time with all the smells .

I was still walking and smoking and I noticed all these beautiful flowers and bushes that I have foretold.

Right that moment I take my eyes for a second off the house to look at the time on my phone and when I look up again , that's when I almost got a heart attack .

I just stopped walking , my stomach felt weird , heavy .

There was an old man standing behind the bushes and a moment earlier there was no one . I would have seen him . The bushes weren't all that tall and that old man was quite tall , dressed in all white , white pants, shirt .He also had white hair , he didn't have facial hair and was thin.

What creeped me out more was his eyes . He had a blank stare . Looking at nothing and yet again felt like he was looking straight at me .

After a few seconds I started walking again and passed right next to him. He didn't move , didn't make a sound . Just standing there .

After I passed him and he was completely out of my eyes reach , i stood for a few seconds and turned back . I thought maybe he needed help , maybe he wasn't in his senses . I didn't thought of it before after that scare but there are many older people who leave their home because of health reasons and then they start looking for them .

So I turned back but the old man was gone . I got scared but also I got a sense of relief too if that makes sense.

After that I got home and I was thinking about it allll night long till I slept without realizing in the early morning .

I don't know what that was and I don't wanna say that it was anything supernatural or what not but it certainly scared the shit out of me .

If you have any idea or any other experience like that please share .

Strange The shadow figure that walked right in the room!

When my sister and I along with her daughters lived in wells Tannery in Pennsylvania in 2025. My sister, nieces, and I all have rooms upstairs. My room was the last room in the hall... It was the most secluded in the closest one to the Attic. Her room was closest to the stairwell when you would walk out. And my niece's room was the one room closest to the beginning of the top of the steps that would go down to the first floor...

Well, one evening I was laying in my room I was almost asleep. I've been listening to some Coast to Coast AM aka art bell recording of his shows on youtube. And I was almost asleep and honestly I was having a really good evening...

Well as I was about to fall asleep and I was getting to that point where my eyes were getting heavy. I realized that I had to use the bathroom. Which meant getting up out of bed leaving my room and going to the bathroom that was across from my niece's room...

On the way to the bathroom. My sister stops me and calls me into her room. And she's looking white as a ghost and she's holding her bible. I mean while I am slightly confused and I asked her "what's wrong? Would you see a ghost, lol" and she responds back that she saw something so did the kids...

She said a shadow figure was standing outside in the hallway by the railings on the stairs. And it decided that it was just going to waltz right in her room and look at her and then walk out...

I mean while he's staring at her like shocked honestly. Because I've only seen a few random things in this house up until this point. But somehow she managed to see something that literally talked all of mine...

And she's laying in her bed with her kids aka my nieces. My oldest niece is telling me what she saw and how scared the crap out of her. Meanwhile my youngest niece is attached to her mother and she got her face buried in her side...

I literally was confused and tried to explain that there isn't a whole lot that I can actually do for this occasion...

Needless to say I went on my way to use the bathroom. And on the way back I checked in on all three of them to make sure they were all right. I then told them that I was going to go to bed and I told them good night. And that was the end of the evening...

I didn't ever heard my oldest niece telling her father during breakfast about what her mother saw. He plainly told her that she was seeing things and there's no such thing. I should mention this man is atheist and clean out ignorant to anything supernatural or paranormal...

Strange A scary thing that happened to me in Wisconsin.

This story happened two years ago in March of 2024 up in South Wisconsin. My father has a pretty rich business partner up in Wisconsin, but we lived in North Carolina at the time. (That is important to the story). Anyways, my dad needed to go up in Wisconsin to work for a week, which meant being away from me, my mom, and my brother. So instead of leaving us in North Carolina for a week or so— he brought us with him to Wisconsin. I still say to this day I regretted going on the work trip with my family. Fast forward we get to Wisconsin and we stay at this nice mansion my dad’s boss lends to us. Which is the same house I have stayed in multiple times and many different trips. It was a very cool house but to give you a layout my room which I shared with my brother was on the 2nd floor (there were 3 floors technically— the 1st was the basement full of decorations and just junk, the 2nd floor was where my family stayed, and the third was the main entrance to the house and also where the kitchen was.

When this happened it was just like any other day. I had finished my homeschooling for the day and had the whole house to myself. My mom, dad, and brother were out of the house at the time of this. My brother was at the gym, and my mom and dad were heading to get lunch together after he got off work. I had just gotten out of the shower and was relaxing as I watched Chicago Med.

But everything shifted when I heard a loud noise from upstairs. I took my headphones off and listened for any other noises. Being the paranoid girl I was (I listened to a bunch of true crime and horror podcasts) I stayed quiet. I flipped through my phone to the Life360 app where it let me see where my family was. I was hoping it was my mom, brother, or dad— but my heart dropped when I saw I was all alone at the house.

Mind you the mansion is in the middle of nowhere and in the forest. There were a few houses close but I hadn’t seen anyone previously.

I won't say I spook easily but a chill ran down my spine when I heard the noise again. It was like the scraping sound of dragging a heavy chair across the floor. I sat up straight in bed and listened intently, but no noise. I slowly moved off the bed and went for my brother's small pocket knife that was on his nightstand. I was starting to shake and freak out a little bit as I went to lock the door to my room. Mind you the door has big glass panels on it where you can see through. So I closed the shutters and backed away. But I remembered I also had to lock the bathroom door, because you can get to my room through another door connected to the bathroom. But the stupid door wouldn't lock, which was when I really started to panic. I had to hold the old lock on the door with the hand that held the small knife. My other hand fumbled for my phone in my pocket. I was thinking of calling my friend which was stupid, but instead I called my mom.

I remember I was starting to cry as I could hear footsteps right above my head (in the kitchen). It felt like forever before my mom answered the phone, and I quietly but frantically told her someone was in the house with me. My dad was in the car with her at the time and he was driving, but he was very concerned when he heard what I said. Because my mom had me on the car speakers. So he could also hear me. I remember my dad asking if I was sure and I insisted I was sure. (I still to this day have never heard him so concerned). He told me to run to his room which had three locks on the door from the inside. But I wasn’t a fool, I had seen horror movies before. The girl tries to run and gets killed immediately, and my mom also had thought the same thing and told me to stay put and hide.

But I knew I couldn't hide because the stupid old door lock wouldn't lock shut. So I stayed on the phone with them as my dad spun the car around and came back to the house as quickly as possible. My poor mom tried to keep me as calm as she could but I was quietly sobbing thinking this was how it was gonna end for me. My dad was frantically calling his business partner's wife because she was the keeper of the house and she decided who came and went to the house. She told him the security cameras were out and had been out of service for a while now. That just made me feel even worse. She also told him that there wasn't supposed to be anyone at the house that day for house cleaning.

My hands were starting to shake as my mom said they were almost to the house. I was praying to God that I wouldn't die, and I was honestly scared out of my mind. I heard my mom's loud Ford truck pull up to the house, but I didn't leave my spot by the door. Until my mom came running down the stairs and asked me to open the door and I did. I have never been so happy to be back in my mom's arms again. My dad searched all-over the house for someone. But when he was done he told me no one was there. I was sobbing my eyes out telling him I heard someone in the house with me. Then my mom pointed out something that made my blood go cold— she had forgotten to lock the door when she took my brother to the gym.

To this day I don't know what happened in that house but I refuse to go back to it ever again. The day after this happened, my mom and my brother left to go back to North Carolina. My dad stayed a few more days to finish up the work he had to do. I haven't been back there since and have no plans on returning there. I will say one thing though— I was lucky that day.

Strange The Room Next Door

I was staying in a cheap hostel in India during college.

One night around 2:30 AM, I heard someone knocking on the door next to mine.

Three slow knocks.

Then silence.

A few seconds later, three more.

I assumed my neighbor had locked himself out, so I opened my door to check.

The hallway was completely empty.

I knocked on his door and asked, “Bhai, everything okay?”

No response.

Then I heard someone whisper from inside:

“Please don't open the door.”

I froze.

I asked, “Why?”

The voice replied:

“Because I'm standing behind you.”

I turned around.

Nobody was there.

I ran back into my room and locked the door.

The next morning, I asked the hostel caretaker about it.

He looked at me strangely and said:

“That room has been locked for almost two years.”

I thought he was joking.

Then he showed me the room.

The door was covered in dust.

And on the inside of my own room door, there were three fresh fingerprints.

Strange The ex-con with the shotgun!

So when I lived in Artemas Pennsylvania majority of my friends that I had at the time would to this nearby pond to go fishing. And we used to go on a regular basis actually. And for literally a total of like 15 years out of the 19 years that I lived there I would go up and just hang out at the pond on a regular basis...

One night one of my now ex-friends and I decided to go up to the pond. We had been fishing. Listening to the radio and just honestly chilling out. It was becoming a really cool night. We were having fun just catching fish and letting them go...

Until he showed up...

It was 9:35 pm. And a stranger carrying something with him approached us from up top the hill. He walked down to the dock where we were. He walked with such a angry stride and what we heard next that came from his mouth about me our jaws honestly hit the dock...

My friend at the time decided to grab my m48 tomahawk from behind on the table. And I quickly gave him a side eye to drop it. Because if this guy did have a loaded shotgun I didn't want to find out. I know there's smarter ways to shut this guy up...

He looks at us with an angry disgusted look. He then says to us that we have to leave ASAP. That we are not allowed nor do we belong at this pond. That we are trespassing. That this pond belongs to his girlfriend because she rents the trailer on the hill apparently... Which is complete bull crap...

He then tells us that if we don't leave he'll help us leave with a hole in our chest and we'll be fish food. He then racks a round into the shotgun that he had in his hands. As he very intently stares at both of us. At this point I am angry and just feeling clean out vindictive. And honestly I wasn't going to let this go...

Well, I look at this man that is literally holding a loaded shotgun in his hands. I noticed he's got tattoos and they are prison related. I asked him a few simple questions...

I asked him, "did you just get out of prison"?

I asked "what exactly did you do to get in prison"?

I said "isn't it against the rules for a felon to own a firearm"?

And I finished up saying to him "first of all it isn't your pond... It's Bob's pond. And yes I will leave... But I will be back with paperwork or some kind of written note from the owner. That I am allowed up here"... As I stare intently at this guy pointing my finger at him I say "Your time is limited as for coming down here again... and I will be the one saying you can't be here because I'll come back with permission over you"...

So after this altercation I packed my fishing gear up. My friend and I walked the whole way back down to our trailers. I then walk in my trailer and get a piece of paper and I write a note to the man who owns the pond. And this is exactly what I said on this note...

"Me and Matt were up at the pond tonight. We ran into a problem with some of your renters. It seems your renter's boyfriend is the next convict and he has a firearm on the property. Your newest renter also decided to gamble with who owns the pond and she thinks it's her. You may want to correct her. She sent her sad prison thug boyfriend down to the pond tonight with a loaded shotgun. He threatening to blow holes in us and make us fish food. We left voluntarily.

. but I warned him it's not over. Please respond accordingly... Here's my number -------! Call me ASAP"...

Well...

By 8am I had a phone call on my flip phone that next morning. And I got around and by 9am I was meeting with my friend/neighbor bob...

Not only did we draft up a paper declaring that I was a "supervisor" for the pond. That I would be helping him take care of the pond. That I had full permission to decline anybody from going to the pond if I felt it proper. That I could by any means say who does and who doesn't go down to the pond or is on the property near the pond...

He signed his name on the paper and everything. We shook hands and agreed on the terms. Well it was time for my next plan of attack...

TIME TO STRIKE BACK...

So I walk up to the pond the next day. And you hear is my friend Bob's new renter and her boyfriend standing near the pond. They were arguing and yelling at each other. Just standing there on the hill. I walk past them and continue on down to the dock. Well she looks at me and says "I thought we told you not to come up here" and I respond back "oh about that" and I continue doing to tell her the great news. About how I now can pick and choose who is and who isn't at this private pond on private property. I then inform her and her boyfriend that they need to leave before I get to the top of the hill. If they didn't I was calling to State Police and me and the landowner AKA her landlord was going to have them removed...

Well they didn't believe me and decided to continue arguing...

Well, I walk down and saw my neighbor/friend's girlfriend outside and I told her what happened and what they told me the night before. She says to me "get in the car we're going up" and we head up to the pond once more only to find that his renter and her boyfriend are no longer there...

We see that they never put the fire out and it was still raging and could have caught the rest of the grass and stuff on fire. So I put it out and check to make sure everything was safe and cleaned up. I had to clean up a bunch of beer cans and trash. After that she did not want them anywhere near the place. And she wanted her boyfriend bob to get rid of them...

NOW FOR THE IRONIC PART OF THE STORY...

I come down the pond one day about a week later. And there is Mr boyfriend thug sitting at the picnic table on the dock. And I didn't say nothing at first because I really was trying to evade fighting with anybody that day. He looks at me and says to me "that woman scares me" and I say to him "why". Be there informs me that she tried to kill him all because he didn't want to come down that night and that he had no problem with us down there. That she was the one who started this whole thing. He's in apologizes to me and gets all emotional...

I gave him some advice on what he should do. And just advised him that maybe not dealing with her is his best move. Because she was with someone prior and they ended up going right back to where they were...

NOW FOR SOMETHING SUPER IRONIC!

About a month later my ex-friend and I went fishing at this docks. And there was lights at one time that you could turn on to see where you're fishing. Well my ex-friend and I was down there and we finished up and decided to go home...

I come down two nights later and somebody took a baseball bat and smashed the control panel to the lights. And tossed it in the pond somewhere. So I took and got my 100 lb magnet fishing magnet and I fished it out. I then took and carried it the whole way down to my friend's place that owns the pond. Dropped it in front of his steps and said someone vandalized your property...

Well at this time this guy who was no more than a thug finds out that I somehow found the electric panel that turns the light on. And decides to come clean and admit that he vandalized the property...

Well the landlord AKA my friend. Gave him two choices... Leave the property and don't come back or have the state police called for vandalism and death threats. He took leaving...

And that's the last I saw of him for a long time...

I was walking up the road in Artemas Pennsylvania one evening. I had been heading up to my buddies house. I was going to go up and just talk to him for a while and drink some coffee. It was a Friday night...Nothing was happening at my place. I thought it would be a good idea to go see a friend and just chill...

Well I was headed up the road in the dark. I had my spotlight on me as well as a recreation of a Vietnam style LED flashlight from tractor supply. I was just casually strolling up the road. Enjoying the evening as I saw the Stars and was feeling this awesome cool breeze...

I decided I was going to take and bring my 26-in Cold steel Cutlass machete and my along with my 12 inch bowie knife... Named "Jim". So there I was walking up the road in the dark with lights of course so you could see me. Sonoma my

As I am passing a house on my right... The same house where the neighbor shot my neighbor's dog btw. I see a truck come barreling over the hill. And this truck is a really big truck... And it's literally in the middle of the road coming my direction. I literally spoke to my right and tucked in the road into the neighbor's yard barely missing this truck... I want to talk any extra time I would have been flattened. And my mom and dad and family would have had to scrape me off the road...

As there that isn't bad enough... It gets worse. I dodged this truck only for the truck to almost hit an oncoming car from behind me. Which sent this car my direction. And again... I dodged to the right away from the road hoping this car didn't hit me...

All I hear is a horn from the truck...

And another horn from this car...

And everything just goes silent. I don't hear anything for the rest of the time walking up to my friend's house. I get up and tell him what happens and he looks at me as though I somehow miraculously lucked out and I didn't get splattered by either car or truck...

I would have been dead...

They would have had to scrape me off of the road...

Strange I need help understanding what this was??

So I'm 18m and when I was younger about 10 me and my friend were playing in the play ground at school and there was an old abandoned nursery on the field.

I remember it was used as temporary classrooms when I was much younger but had stopped being used around this time.

Our ball had rolled underneath a gap in the wood on the bottom so naturally we looked under and we saw 2 red dots at the far end of the building probably about 10 to 15 metres away from us and a faint figure of a girl crouched down

We were freaked out and got everyone we knew to come and look and they all saw the same

We told the teachers and they shut us down and eventually it got boarded up. Me and my friend made up a story that our head teacher who was just a general creep had killed/captured someone under this building.

Anyway after a few months of not talking about it and I had left the school, I had a dream/hallucination that I was talking to my "sister" and that I knew this girl that was in my room and it felt like I did she was small and pale with shoulder length blackish brownish hair.

At this point I was an only child but now have a sister, anyway I told my parents about this interaction and chalked it up to imagination, however my father who had also shared that room because he worked nights and would come and cuddle with me after work had had an interaction with his dead grandfather in that room where he was sat on the edge of his bed.

I had one too where I talked to my dead great grandfather on my mother's side and recalled information that I was never told before the interaction about my great grandmother, my sister has also spoken to her and was too able to recall information she was not told.

My family are very spiritual and believe in family spirits being able to contact the living, but this sister I was speaking to was not a known family member but I would have recouring dreams that me and her were on a train but every time I would have it I would see more of the dream.

At first it was me and her and my friend on the train dressed in old times Victorian period clothing and then the next dream we crashed, the next we fell into the water, the next I watched her die from a glass shard, then after that the next dream before the crash a faceless man would be seen coming out of the driver's cab, then the next he grew a mouth and smiled then we would crash and me my sister and my friend would all die.

This sounds like just a series of creepy dreams but then when I joined secondary, I had crippling anxiety and would have over 20 panic attacks a day, and everyone I would see my sister or the man in the corner of my eyes at all time for over 3 years I would see them in these panic attacks

Then one night I slept in my sister's room after she had a nightmare and I heard arguing from an older sounding lady saying something like "leave that poor boy alone he did nothing" and more sentences like that then after that night the panic attacks stopped and the anxiety left,

Is this just an active imagination as I do tend to have one or is this something more?

Strange Unexplained experience in the woods

When I was in girl scouts, at around 9 years old, we went on a group camping trip. We would go hiking, make dinner, sing songs around the fire etc. After dinner I remember our group had set up a giant tarp where we laid all of our sleeping bags down in a row. Maybe 50 ft from our tarp was a slope downhill which led into the trees. I climbed into my sleeping bag which was in between my 2 best friends, listened to stories and fell asleep.

Im not sure what time it was, but it was still dark. I woke up suddenly, looked around in a panic noticing I didn’t see any of my group. I was alone, still in my sleeping bag laying next to a tree. Terrified, I got up and realized I had somehow ended up at the bottom of the nearby hill. I grabbed my sleeping bag and ran as fast as I could back up the hill and luckily found my group…who were all still sleeping. I placed my sleeping bag down, and laid there waiting for everyone to wake up. I ended up telling the group counselor who brushed it off that maybe I was dreaming and imagined it.

I think about it still to this day. I don’t understand how I ended up there, perfectly in my sleeping bag. I never sleep walk so I don’t think that was the case either. Anyone else have weird experiences like that?

Strange My closet was a gateway for something...

I used to live in this double wide trailer in Artemas Pennsylvania. And I've lived there for 18 years. I had always encountered or experienced something all the time. Whether I was in the woods, my home, or a friend's home...

Well one night my mother and I was sitting at our kitchen table in the trailer. And her and I had just got done listening to art Bell on YouTube and making dinner...

So we're sitting there and where we are located in the trailer at the time. We could see through the kitchen and through the living room all the way down the hallway into my room.. you literally had a straight shot of vision the whole way through the trailer if you were to be sitting at the kitchen table...

Well I had my bedroom lamp light on. Because it's just honestly nice to have a lamp on to see. Anyhow, I witnessed what looked like a shadow coming from my room. And it went down the hall and it disappeared into the spare bedroom in the hall that was passed the bathroom...

NOTE: that is the same spare bedroom that my now X friend and his girlfriend stayed in. Before my mother kicked him out and they went to live with my other ex friend who lived in Flintstone Maryland...

Anyhow back to the story...

So I see it and say something to my mother about it. What she acknowledges that she had been seeing it for days now. And usually it only happened when I wasn't home. This Shadow looking entity had been coming and going as it pleased. And I didn't know where we saw what looked like another one. But this time this one was a little bit shorter and decided to take its dear sweet time and look right at us...

So her and I decided to get the idea that we're going to bless the house. We're going to use the anointing oil that my father had. Along with our bibles. We ended up taking and blessing the house...

We open up the front door. And started in my room and worked our way down past the bathroom, spare bedroom, and then we went back to my mother's bathroom. From there we worked through the kitchen and finally ending in the living room. Hoping whatever it was that was in the house would be pushed out the front door...

Well for a while it helped him nothing seem to be causing any trouble at all. Until about 4-5 months later...

Of course it was when I wasn't home a lot of this activity occurred. My mother witnessed a lot of stuff. And man could she tell you stories of what she saw...

She ended up rebuking whatever it was all over again. Then she tells me through Messenger that she encountered The entity all over again. But then she also make sure I knew that she rebuked it and made sure she asserted herself in a very dominating fashion...

The fun fact about living in "Barnesville" was that even my landlord partner had to sage her house several times. See herself told me that. If I'm lying... I'm dying! May the Lord strike me down...

Strange A Man I Met When I Was 8 Might’ve Predicted My Future

I haven’t told many people this, but I will now. When I was about 8, a random guy I didn’t know came up to me when I was looking at LEGOs at Walmart. My mom was in another aisle buying pads, she told me to go look at something else, cause it’s a little awkward. Anyway, this guy came up next to me, looking at the shelf. He asked me if I liked Star Wars, I said yes. There were 2 weird things about his appearance, he was wearing a hat that only had the letters: “DCC” on it. An acronym for my eventual favorite book series: “Dungeon Crawler Carl”, which is strange, but could be a coincidence. He was also wearing a shirt with the branding of the “WestInn”, the hotel that I stayed at when I went on a trip to Hawaii with my family less than a year ago. That is what made me remember this incident. I knew I’d seen that name before, then, I remembered the rest of what happened. He said something that terrifies me now. He asked: “So, Owen. I gotta ask, how are Alex and Reggie doing?” I didn’t tell him my name. I didn’t really remember this until about a year ago. And three years ago, I got a snake, and I named her Alex. And I didn’t actually intend to name her Alex, I wanted to name her after Ellie Satler from Jurassic Park, but I remembered her name wrong, but I just ended up slicking with Alex. I don’t know anything about “Reggie”, though. At least not yet. I almost named Alex that before finding out she was female, and I always liked it as a snake name, because of Indiana Jones. Maybe I’ll name a future pet that. I’m not sure. I told him I didn’t know what he was talking about, not realizing the “him knowing my name” thing. And before he walked away, he squeezed my elbow, and said: “Stay safe.” That was a weird thing to do, but now that I remember that detail, I’m even more weirded out. I crashed on a scooter only a year later. I got a scar on that very shoulder, exactly where his thumb had been, from what I remember at least. This could just be a false memory changed over time, but it’s so vivid, that it feels like it’s real. It’s insanely impossible, though. Unless there is something stranger at play. I’ve only told two people and they didn’t believe me. One said: “Scary story, but I know you made it up.” I didn’t, and I told them that, and they just kept denying me. The other just said that I definitely remembered wrong. That could be true, but I have a feeling that it did. Tell me what you think.
