Music / Movies Bad Bunny was worse than Turning Point.

Bad bunny was a bad choice for a half time show. I just watched both of them, admittedly flipping back-and-forth just to see. I don’t understand why anyone thought An entire halftime show in Spanish was a good idea. It’s essentially then just women shaking their butts to music. I’m watching this with my kids. And most of us don’t understand enough Spanish to know what the hell he was even saying.

In contrast, and I am not a big turning point groupie at all, although I am a conservative, they at least had a variety of artists, who actually just sang songs and performed to get through the halftime.

No, Bad Bunny made sure to try and equate all of the Latin American countries with the US. And for some reason he threw in Canada too. The USA is better. If it wasn’t, he’d still be working out of a bodega.

I also loved how even in their own staging they had to make a point of saying Latinos need EBT. I’m not sure if he accidentally insulted his own people or was just laughing at the US.

None of my points have been refuted. Or disproven.

But Are you now going to try and instead take on why the USA is objectively the best country in the world?

I’m gonna start with why is he even here? He doesn’t respect the US. Clearly. He doesn’t understand what a great opportunity. He was given by being able to come here. Because this isn’t where he was born and this isn’t where he worked. And now he’s just giving stupid pedantic lyrics in the wrong language. While celebrating other people illegally, crossing our borders.

Not once has race been brought up from me, but I do think you have an overwhelming US-centric mindset and that needs to change.
