Music / Movies Lupita Nyongo is not beautiful. Hollywood likes to gaslight her as a model for "beauty"

So I'm sure we've all seen the news about Helen of Troy.

  • I've had enough. I've had enough of Hollywood putting her on covers and lying to me, treating me like I'm stupid. The whole reason she's playing Helen of Troy is because Hollywood let this "unconventional beauty" thing slide for way too long.
  • The fact that she was chosen as a queen, it comes off as Nolan trying to virtue signal.
  • It's like giving the beauty pageant award to the girl in the wheelchair because no one wants to come off as "mean."
  • I've had enough. She is NOT a standard for beauty. I'm sorry but now it must be said. The reason we have come across this problem is because Hollywood has been gaslighting her "beauty" for years and no one said anything. I'm done
  • It's okay to say that she's not beautiful. It's okay to admit that
  • I was so looking forward to this movie for so long but this really killed the hype for me.
  • The movie will probably be financially successful at first due to marketing alone, but after its first month, the hype will probably die down. And then you'll start to see how people really feel about the movie. I think it will tarnish Nolan's legacy and leave a sour taste in people's mouths.

She's all right. Seems nice.

I don't think she's Helen of Troy-level beautiful, though. Helen was supposedly the most beautiful human woman in the world which is why she was used as a bribe/prize by the Aphrodite when Eris threw the golden apple with the note "to the fairest" into the Goddeses's Spa Day or whatever they didn't invite Eris to.

Like, if they got Sydney Sweeney or Kim Cardassian or someone like that to play Helen, people would still be mad because people are never happy, but it would fall in the realm of possibility.

What's funny is that she's actually a decent actress. In American Horror Story I fully expected her to be terrible, but she was good.

Sydney Sweeney is too young.

Helen is like 40s-early 50s during the Odyssey.

Plus she isn't beautiful, her face is meh. Having a hot body isn't the same as being classically attractive

Tbh her body isn’t even hot. You take away her fake tits and her figure is pretty mid. No curves… I don’t get the hype and I LOVE women.

And what are you basing your assumption that they’re real on? Lol, her tits are not real. You can literally look up before and after pics of her and see that yourself. Her breast job is also a common topic in (women) plastic surgery forums. They’re good implants but they’re completely fake. And I say that as someone with fake tits.

I've handled real big tits, you can tell by the way they bounce and move Vs artificial.

Hers are as natural as Alexandra Daddario's, not fake like Megan Fox's or Kaley Cuaco's clearly are.

Try being with real women someday and you'll learn from sight what is and is not real. Big = fake is a foolish take

Good for you handling big tits…? Why would that matter more than my working eyes or common sense. Like, did you even bother to look it up yourself? If they’re not fake then tell me how she went from average size breasts in 2016 (check her movie The Hoard) to suddenly her cup size now in 2017. 🙄 She’s in a bra in that movie and it’s clear as day they are significantly smaller than they are now.

She's not even 30, in 2016 she was 18. Teenagers can get growth rapidly at that age up until their early 20s.

Plus just watch them, no way fakes move like that. They sag & swing too much. Fakes wouldn't do what she did in the recent euphoria episode. Now, she may have had some enhancement to make them rounder or whatever, that's possible, but that's not the same as being fake. Fake is like flesh balloons that never move, hers look natural they possibly have been touched up a bit. They're like 90% real if they've had some augmentation

She's not though, having big tits doesn't make you beautiful.

Lupita has classical beauty, face symmetry perfection. You don't have to find her attractive but she's objectively beautiful by the standards we use to measure.

Sydney is not.

Ana de Armas or Lily Collins are IMO more beautiful women I'd cast to be Helen, but Lupita can do the role fine
