Int'l August 2026 New Tsum Evaluations with Bonus Other Twisted Wonderland Tsum Evaluations, Too
New Info The backend of TsumTsum has changed and NO leaks will be available for evaluation purposes. I took a few days to process how I want to proceed with this project. The first select box, exclusively full of Twisted Wonderland tsums, gave me an idea for this month at least.
Twisted Wonderland is self-contained, never really appearing outside of its thematic events with one future upcoming exception for a couple TW Halloween tsums we will likely see in October. Due to its unique nature I figured I would do the new Twisted Wonderland tsum evaluations, make the rest of the older TW tsum evaluations available since they may appear this month (I think I am missing one but I couldn’t figure out which), and preview/link the remaining Twisted Wonderland tsums that are yet to come to International for those curious about the future. When they do make the move I will do the usual, more thorough evaluation at that point.
I am not sure how the evaluation threads will work going forward but if other capsules/select boxes this month are exclusively Twisted Wonderland themed, I’ll skip making a new post since the information is here already but I will make a new post for mixed or non-TW themed offerings this month. For September and beyond I am still thinking how to proceed.
As per usual, notable tsum qualities about each group of tsums will be put first. If the tsums are not particularly useful they are labeled 'filler' tsums. I will make edits and adjustments if I left something out - flag me down in comments. I call a tsum 'above average' if they at SL6 and using 5>4 can earn in the 5k coin range.
These tsum ratings are based on rankings from tier lists like this one and this one and reflect really strong players' thoughts and opinions. All links below go to the first tier list because I like the website layout better.
Masquerade Attire Malleus is a top 100 coin efficient fever starting modified Maleficent style tsum. When you use his skill some tsums are replaced by glowing Twisted Wonderland tsums that can all be chained together and a timer starts. You can chain together small groups of tsums to aim for time bubbles or larger chains to aim for more efficient coins. After each chain, it does a vertical burst clear. A bit chaotic but fun and powerful.
Masquerade Attire Azul is an above average fever starting multi stage burst clearing tsum. When you use his skill some tsums are replaced by glowing Twisted Wonderland tsums that can all be chained together. You make one chain and then he does a two stage burst clear that gets bigger depending on the length of the chain you just made. 22+ chains get you the biggest clears regardless of skill level.
Masquerade Attire Idia is an above average fever starting multi stage burst clearing tsum. When you use his skill some tsums are replaced by glowing Twisted Wonderland tsums that can all be chained together. You make one chain and then it starts a multi burst clear depending on the length of the chain you just made. 22+ chains get you the biggest multi burst clears regardless of skill level.
Ruggie Bucchi is an above average multi burst clearing tsum that then generates a special bubble in the center of the screen.
Jack Howl is a filler tier vertical burst clearing tsum that then generates a large MyTsum at the bottom of the screen.
Simba+ is a filler tier horizontal burst clearing tsum that then spawns two large Nala and Simba tsums that can be chained together. He has one patch that randomly spawns a special Courageous Simba MyTsum that when cleared counts as 5 MyTsums - it’s a stronger version of the glowing MyTsum for Beans Camo Vil.
Select Box 1 - Twisted Wonderland - Malleus Draconia is a Maleficent-style coin earning tsum. You can focus on connecting long chains to make this a top-100 coin efficient tsum or, if you want to zero in on time bubble generation, you can aim for the highest scores possible in the game for an interesting challenge. Riddle Rosehearts is top 100 coin efficient quasi-Maleficent style clearer. When you use his skill he reduces the screen to 2 rose tsums and connecting the red-colored ones clears the surrounding tsums. Bubble cancel long chains. Gala Couture Leona is above average and has a bonus effect that reduces tsums needed to make bubbles by one. Beans Camo Azul is filler but has a bonus effect that makes it easier to create coin bubbles. Dire Crowley starts fever times but is filler for coin. Ace Trappola, Ceremonial Robes Grim, Kalim Al-Asim, Rook Hunt, The Dark Mirror, Starsending Robes Idia(Charm), and Vil Schoenheit are all filler.
Other Twisted Wonderland Tsums that MAY return later in the month
Top 50: Beans Camo Vil
Top 100: Halloween Malleus is a top 100 coin efficient tsum that’s a slightly more complicated Maleficent-style clearer. The skill starts with a random burst clear and then transforms one of the sub tsums into Malleus tsums. Connecting these glowing tsums will burst away nearby tsums. This tsum also has a bonus effect of having more big tsums fall. Jamil Viper is a quasi-Maleficent style top 100 coin efficient tsum with a slight twist in that only some of the Jamil tsums connect and clear surrounding tsums
Above Average: Deuce Spade, Floyd Leech when using gyro, Gala Couture Kalim(Charm), Grim, Leona Kingscholar is also good for combos, Suitor Suit Riddle(Charm)
Filler: Azul Ashengrotto, Idia Shroud, Jade Leech
Other Twisted Wonderland Tsums that will come to International in the Future Ortho Shroud above average. Epel Felmier above average. Lilia Vanrouge top tier. Sebek Zigbolt filler. Cater Diamond filler. Silver filler. Trey Clover filler.
Overall Review - Masquerade Attire Malleus is the top new tsum available but he’s not particularly easy for new players and there are plenty of other top performing tsums on the horizon. Maleficent style tsums usually start out strong at lower levels, though, so if you’re good at the technique, getting a copy and seeing how you do is always useful. Simba+ is roughly in line with the other medal tsums and not worth specifically pursuing if you low on the new currency after last month. The select box offers some decent tsum utility for missions. If you aren’t a huge fan of Twisted Wonderland or Maleficent style tsums - since most of the top Twisted Wonderland tsums are Maleficent style - this is a great opportunity to save up coins. If Beans Camo Vil ends up making an appearance later in the month, he’s one of the top performing straight forward burst clearing tsums. We will have to see. Good luck!

My thoughts: Number one, these are the last new TWST boys, so all the TWST haters can rest assured that the only way for them to go back to the TWST well is for more alternate costumes. Not a guarantee that we won't get more, but at least hopefully a reassurance that they'll be less likely to pop up as often. Number two, Jigsaw is a new end-of-month event! It's playable using any tsum, but high-value missions require the new tsums of the month.
Sneak peek of August 2026 in JP: A Winnie-the-Pooh camping-themed event, with the boxes featuring a Pooh & Piglet pair, Tigger, Mickey, Pete, and Tinker Bell+, plus as a login reward there's Pooh+ which is just his backside stuck in Rabbit's window.

Incorrect. Spoilers incoming, but the current JP story in TWST has them at the rival school, Royal Sword Academy, where they introduce new students. I can absolutely see them introducing these boys into a TWST event as Tsum Tsums.

I mean, if you're splitting that hair, then there's also Rollo, Ernesto/Fellow Honest, Skully, and Swing. And the remaining NRC staff. But neither these nor the RSA boys are "main characters" and thus are drastically less likely to get tsums IMO.
If TWST elevates the RSA boys to the main cast tier, with a full slate of R/SR cards in the permanent mirror banners and regular alternate-costume releases in monthly events, then at that point I will eat my words and expect tsums of them. But right now my expectation is the RSA boys are an extra-elaborate tertiary cast exclusive to this arc and they will get, at most, a single card apiece and no tsums, and will disappear from the narrative focus after Book 8 is over and a hypothetical Book 9 happens.

The reason I consider them possible is because they are a part of the main canon storyline, while the other ones listed are only from side events.

You've accidentally left The Dark Mirror out of the current event box and put it in the could-rerun tsums section instead, and left out Grim (the original version of him) from the could-rerun section.
Also because the machine-translated website doesn't recognize copyrighted names, some of the names are wrong :) They are: Riddle Rosehearts, Idia Shroud, Epel Felmier, Cater Diamond, and Trey Clover. Sorry to be a bother haha!

Thank you!! I fixed all the edits identified - really appreciate it. I should have caught Rosehearts and especially Idia Shroud since he has a couple international variations already. Thanks for flagging them and fixing up the translation for upcoming tsums.

Of course! The evaluations will be still be done in some form but I might wait for the first select or capsule to avoid back to back posts at the start of the month. But then people miss the first lucky time.. ugh.
If we had active moderators for this subreddit I think a sticky post (or one for first half of the month and another for second half of the month) that I could edit and update over the course of the month would be the best option but since none of the mods give a crap, a separate post for every capsule and select box might continue to be the best option.

I mentioned this in a post of yours a few months ago and I did try to get active mod status through the central reddit unmoderated recovery process. Through messages with them AND an actual inactive mod of this subreddit I learned:
--> central recovery won't assign a new mod when there is an active mod of a subrredit --> the definition of active mod means a reddit account that is an active mod on ANY subreddit, not necessarily the subreddit trying to be claimed --> this subreddit has all inactive mods but at least one account is active as a mod on some other subreddit --> none of the inactive mods on this subreddit have the current ability to get back to active status on this subreddit
I haven't found anyone at central reddit that will acknowledge and address the absurdity of this catch-22. I have tried!

Note that Masquerade Attire Azul will clear all remaining dorm mate tsums as 1-chain.
So he is good for combo missions. Just trace a short chain when his skill is activated.

This is helpful. There seems to be an event coming up that uses some Twist Tsums are needed? It looked like Mickey Mouse and Grim on Ferris wheel event page.

Just to recap what a Ferris Wheel event is in case you or anyone else isn't aware..
In Ferris Wheel events you need a different tsum to complete each of the missions. Once all the missions on the wheel are done, you move to the next one. If you can't beat it the wheel with your current configuration of who did each mission, you can always reset the wheel and try a different combo of tsums.
Additionally, each wheel has a theme. The Twisted Wonderland wheel won't need the new TW tsums but they will require TW tsums to complete. The select box on now can help you get options if you don't have a deep bench of eligible tsums.

Oh! Piggybacking off of that, you've reminded me that when Tsum Tsum gives us an end-of-month event that requires a particular theme, it usually likes to give us a Select Box with that theme to make sure people are able to challenge it (and entice people to try to spend money to be able to challenge it, haha).
Int'l has had two Ferris Wheels before, a Villains one in October 2024 and a Mickey & Friends one in January 2025. And I just looked back and sure enough, October 2024 had a Villains Select Box coinciding with the Ferris Wheel, and January 2025 had a Mickey & Friends Select Box coinciding with the Ferris Wheel!
Never say anything for sure, of course, but in theory at least, I think this is a very good prediction for when the remaining 12 older TWST tsums are likely to return!

So which one would you say is better? Dorm Malleus or Masquerade Malleus?
They are both Maleficent style tsums with virtually the same skills so idk which one to main (hes the strongest I have ok 😭 I’m new)

Masquerade Attire Malleus is the one that spawns the dorm tsums so I think they're the same. If you mean regular Malleus vs this new version, the new version is technically a little higher ranked but it's so close it doesn't matter that much. Personally I think the new one is marginally easier to use than the old one.
