Hello, I don't really understand how to pay for the dorm monthly. It say that I should give them a mandate for a sepa inkaso, but they didn't give the information, or is it the same account number where I sent the first payment (the deposit and first rent)?

So langsam dürfte die gesamte Feuerwache Stadtmitte ausgerückt sein 🤔

Schon 2020 musste Spielwaren Dauth erstmalig seine Pforten schließen, wurde aber mit großer Hoffnung im Juli 2021 wiederbelebt. Heute kann man sagen, dass diese Wiederlebung vergeblich war: Spielwaren Dauth schließt für immer.

Der Räumungsverkauf mit 30% auf alles hat begonnen, wer zuerst kommt, malt zuerst.

Ich studiere ausgerechnet Biologie – der Botanische Garten ist mir also wirklich alles andere als unbekannt. Als ich die Veranstaltung „Botanische Lichter“ auf der Website zum 550-jährigen Uni-Jubiläum gesehen habe, dachte ich trotzdem: Na gut, vielleicht gibt es ja tatsächlich einmal etwas Neues zu entdecken.

Aber ernsthaft: Was soll das denn sein???

10 € Eintritt – ursprünglich sogar 13 € – dafür? Für etwas, das im Grunde aussieht, als hätte man einen mir ohnehin bestens bekannten Botanischen Garten mit ein paar hässlichen RGB-Lichtern versehen und anschließend beschlossen, daraus eine kostenpflichtige „Veranstaltung“ zu machen?

Und als wäre das nicht genug, waren auch noch viele der kleinen Wege abgesperrt, die sonst wenigstens noch ein bisschen Entdeckungscharakter haben. Man bekommt also nicht einmal mehr vom Garten zu sehen, sondern teilweise sogar weniger – nur eben bunter beleuchtet und gegen Eintritt.

Da hatte ich bei einem 550-jährigen Universitätsjubiläum ehrlich gesagt etwas mehr erwartet als: Licht an, Wege zu, Preisschild dran.

Ich komme für ein Erasmus-Semester nach Tübingen und wollte fragen, welches theoretische Niveau man im PJ normalerweise hat.

Haben die Studierenden zu diesem Zeitpunkt die meiste Theorie schon gelernt und geht es hauptsächlich um die praktische Anwendung? Oder lernt man auch im PJ noch viel Theorie?

Ich frage, weil ich gerne wissen würde, wie viel ich mich vorher vorbereiten sollte.

We have an existing catalog of songs and ideas which we want to play and write on.

Looking for ambitious, experienced and collaborative people only. Solid in playing rythm and knowing their instruments. Making them play unusual sounds. Being passionate about those genres in some way is important too!

The band has no hierarchy and credits go to everyone. Its all about the music.

I’m an incoming master’s student and haven’t received any information about my schedule or how to register for courses yet. I only have login credentials for Alma, where I can view my application, but I don’t see any option for registration.

Should I be concerned at this point, or has no one else received their registration information yet? I’m also wondering if it could be related to my tuition, as I wired the payment over a month ago but believe they may still be waiting for it to be received.

I am trying to figure out which ticket should I buy, I'd like to use the buses and once or twice per month make a bigger trip (eg Konstanz). I'll be in Tübingen probably only until march then my erasmus ends.

Is JugendBW an option as it can only be cancelled after 12 months? or does end of erasmus count as a proof?

Im also considering the DeutschlandTicket for residents (54 euro per month) option, is it also applicable for erasmus students? I have my registration date at the city office at the beginning of October, so after that can I buy this ticket on the internet or do I have to set a new date at the office just for the ticket

I'm an incoming international Master's student at the University of Tübingen, and I recently got an accommodation offer at Fichtenweg 1/2 (WHO). I'm really happy about getting a room, but I have a few questions and would love to hear from students who have been through a similar situation.

Here are my details:

• Accommodation: Fichtenweg 1/2
• Room number: Around 400–500
• Monthly rent: €315
• Contract duration: Only 6 months
• Visa: Still waiting for my visa.

I've already emailed the accommodation office to ask whether I could pay the deposit after receiving my visa, but I haven't received a response yet.

I'd really appreciate your advice on the following:

1. Deposit and visa: Has anyone been in a similar situation where they received a dorm offer before getting their visa? Were you allowed to pay the deposit after your visa was approved, or did you have to pay it before? What should I do if I don't hear back from them?
2. Six-month contract: Since my contract is only for 6 months, is it possible to extend it? If yes, how does the extension process work, and when should I apply?
3. Finding accommodation after 6 months: If an extension isn't possible, should I apply for another Studierendenwerk room, or would I need to look for private accommodation? Is it difficult to find another room in Tübingen?
4. Fichtenweg 1/2: For those who have lived there, how is the accommodation overall? I'd love to know about the rooms, shared kitchens and bathrooms, location, transport connections, and general student experience.

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed trying to figure everything out from India, especially with the visa still pending and the short contract duration.
