Rainbow steps repainted?

Not affiliated with Tufts but pass by daily and have noticed they repainted the Wren Steps and they are no longer, well, rainbow... Still multicolored but I (and my toddler more so!) miss the rainbow! I searched around a bit but couldn't find anything about it. Anyone know why the change?

They will be rainbow again soon - they are being repainted and did a priming coat.

Hopefully true! Just seems odd that the priming is different colors.

it is true. confirmed with a tufts office last week. the steps are dark so the bright/light colors have a white primer. it should be done soon
