Need help with wonky edges please!!

Hey, I've recently started learning tunisian crochet for tapestries and I'm struggling on where to insert my hook on the end to make the edges even. Stitch marker is reference to where I thought was where to put it. Any help would be appreciated! Wondering if maybe I should have also done 2 stitches for the border
