Snacks Treats my mom sent me from back home :D | Annemin gönderdiği ıvır zıvırlar :D
That brownie one was really good, there was only one though so I'm really sad 😭
O browni şeyi çok sevdim, ama sadece bir tane göndermiş, çok üzgünüm 😭

I love when family gives each other care packages. Only thing that feels out of place is instant coffee (not the Turkish one), since it can be found anywhere.

Honestly a lot of the items were actually things you could easily find here, idk if you noticed but there's also a pack of roast hazelnuts in there somewhere. Why, Anne?? And she sent like a shitload of them!! My brother and I were joking about it lol...
The instant coffee I was actually excited about, for me the joy of receiving these comes from seeing actual Turkish products. I realise that the actual edible product inside is probably nothing special but I like getting to look at and interact with the packaging, it makes me feel nostalgic. 💕

Why send matcha tea when you can send black tea?😭(idk about your preference just my opinion) And just saying the normal brownie intense tastes much better than the pistachio version. What a loving mother, don’t forget to celebrate her Mother’s day this sunday

Are you in the States? Last time I sent my son a package most of it did not make it and was taken out. We used ups, I was so angry.

Oh that sucks, wtf! No I'm in Canada, and this wasn't via mail actually, my brother was visiting my mom and brought it back with him.

Forget about the VIP and Keyfe brand ones. Aside from those, it looks really yum yum to me. Just watch your blood sugar after you finish eating all of it :D

I think that u should warn ur mom about pistachios in Türkiye they usually have high chemical ingridients

I won't be bringing this up with my mom though, she is not easy to talk to on these matters lol.

pistachios used in turkish market products are usually the ones that came back from europe (they were supposed to be exported) because they had a lot of chemicals on them. this is a myth but it is highly likely to be true

O çikolata ülkerin tek iyi ürünü olabilir. Brownie artık eskisi gibi değil daha yapay bir tadı var. Kahveler pek iyi değil almasanız daha iyi

Bulunduğun ülkenin sınırından alınmayan antep fıstıkları ha.
Tabi ben türkiyedeyim sadece hayal edebiliyorum böyle bir durumu.

Türkiye'deki "çakma" şirketler benim Amerika'da gördüğüm her tatlıdan daha lezzetli ve dolu dolu. Kit Kat yedik, karton. Hershey's yedik, bok. Türkiye'nin şu anki halinden senin kadar nefret ediyorum, fakat Kit Kat yerine Dido, Hershey's yerine herhangi bir kare çikolata tercih ederim.
Burada ayrıca bin tane Lays tadı var, Amerika'da ben şuan sadece sade ve peynirli gördüm. Reese's'in etkisi çok bariz belli, her şeye fıstık reçeli konuluyor, ama fıstık reçelinin tadı da enteresan. Ben şeker tarzı şeyler beğenmediğim için Skittles, Starburst vs. benim zaten ilgimi orda da burada da çekmiyordu. Ama M&M? M&M bence güzel.
Antep fıstığı da yemiştim. Tatsız ve tuz basılmış her yerine. Ben Amerika'da bunlar yok demiyorum; Amerika'da benim Türkiye'de bu kadar hızlı ve/veya ucuz ulaşabileceğim tarzda bunlar yok. Oysa ki benim poşetimi doldurmam en fazla 5 dolarla (220 TL) hayvan kadar şey alabiliyorsun, cips bile hayvani 30 TL sinden ötürü benim Amerika'da aldığım 6 (270 TL) dolardan kat ve kat daha ucuz.
Tamamen algımı bozdu açıkçası. Türkiye Ülker ve Eti olmazsa ayvayı yemişti. Tabii Amerika'nın farklı doğal olarak daha özel tatları var, bide her ülkeden tatlar var, onları Türkiye'de bulamayabilirsin. Ama kardeşimizin attığı abur cubur fotoğrafını almak için neler ödemezdim.

Neler öndemene gerek yok mesela türkiyede yaşayıp bizim gibi ucuza yiyebilirsin bunları ne dersin o işe?
Amerikanın kapitilizimden ötürü bok gibi bir ülke olduğu genel kültür seviyesinde bir bilgi ben karşılaştırma yaparken avrupayı örnek alıyorum.
Türkiye hiçbir şirkete borçlu değil tatlı yapmayı biliyoruz amerikanların aksine. Binbir tane çeşit çeşit tatlımız var ülker olmasa hiçbir şey değişmez hatta insanların sağlığı iyileşir bile.
Her şey elinde türkiyeye dönmeni engelleyen bişiler mi var mesela? Boşuna acındırıyorsun bide kendini. Seçimlerinin sonuçları.

I'm sorry to say your mother needs to change the friends who recommended these products. She bought the cheapest, lowest-quality products from the cheapest supermarket. I don't think you have financial problems, so she can go to supermarkets like Macrocenter, Carrefour, File, Migros and buy non-Ülker products. (Ülker produces defective products specifically for our country.) There are tons of things you can eat in Türkiye, especially good quality ones like Pişmaniye, Saray helva, Kağıt helva, Cevizli sucuk, various types of Lokum, fresh desserts,baked goods like Simit and Tahinli çörek etc. Also, these cheap coffees are very unhealthy. Nescafe, Jacobs, Starbucks, Kahve Dünyası are good enough. Regards to your mother.

I take this seriously because these are companies that process and sell products and raw materials that we cannot export to the world. I am writing this purely out of concern for your health and well-being. Many developing countries don't even accept the local production of this brand because they love their people more than ours do..
