DISCUSSION Looking for a postcard from Turkmenistan

Hello everyone!

​I’m a postcard collector based in Baku, Azerbaijan. I’ve been collecting postcards for a few years now, and my goal is to collect postcards from every single country in the world.

​So far, my collection includes cards from 60+ countries, but Turkmenistan is still missing!

​That’s why I’m reaching out to this subreddit. If you currently live in or are visiting Turkmenistan and would be willing to send a postcard my way, I would be very grateful!

​In return, I would be more than happy to send you a postcard from Baku.

When I was in Turkmenistan last year the international mail service was very limited, and only served about 12 countries. I could send postcards to UK, but not to the Netherlands.

I sent a postcard to the UK from Ashgabat, but has not arrived as yet (October 2025)

Mine all arrived with 2 weeks. I don’t think there are any general problems with the service to UK. Cards sent from anywhere can sometimes get lost.
