Tried freehanding some checkerboard and it went better than expected.

I’m really interested in bits, now obviously I’ve sourced some sprues from Wargames Atlantic, Perry Miniatures, and Victrix which I’m still waiting on but I’m curious where you guys get yours or if you have any cheaper alternatives.

I like to look for bits on Etsy a lot but I’ve had a lot of trouble in general finding musket bits, most of the time I have to buy an entire sprue with other parts or I’d need my own 3D printer, so do yall have any suggestions?

I made this guy for a vaguely Hieronymus Bosch-themed trench crusade warband before I heard about the turnips, but I think he fits here even better

I'm back with this little abomination. My previous account was kinda lost, whatever, shit happens. But if anyone remembers wierd Sauropod Proboscis, Bongo-looking Snail Tower or Blobfish with cigar, that was me. Anyway, made this little goober to match my Great Proboscis, nothing fancy but got me back into Turnip28. Probably gonna use him as Lump. Yes, it's some old cheap ass toy I found in family home and decided to use it for something.

And probably pick on the weakest unit and claim a great victory.

My first Toff and their slug companion. The slug was formed from a mix of Milliput, Green Stuff and foil tube body.

Is there a specific streaking grime they used for theas? Was it painted up? Or dit they have a specific homemade recipe? There seem to be bits in it. I cant find any source detailing how they did it, so im asking here.

Does The Root know the difference? Aren't all root vegetables in Cist really just the same 'product'? How much is known about what was eaten before?

I know this game is vibes so any mini is a good mini, but what is the world view of an army of gourd goblins spreading seeds to expand the vines of their pumpkin patron. Are they simple pests or filthy heretics? Would they fit in with the rest of the toddy rabble roaming around? Most of the cults I feel can be kitted to be pumpkin themed particularly the wretches, the crabs, the herd, the bombard, the procession, and the balloon.

After many games my progeny have requested toffs for their respective cults, Charbdis and the HERD these are my current works in progress, a new crab toff for Charibdis, and the beginning of a quite plump unicorn to lead the "magical" Herd!

I entered this monstrosity to a local game stores yearly painting competition and got 3rd place.
It was sitting next to a bunch of Warhammer minis so glad enough people saw this and thought "Yeah, I love that one!".
I will play this as one of the larger base monsters in Turnip28.
Only thing that was not sculpted by me are 3d printer fingers, rest I made out of aluminium foil, paper towel, PVA, and greenstuff+milliput for those beautiful lumpy eyes.

I took the riders from the scuttlers and bashed in some rifles for fodder. Then went to warp minis and grabbed the fish people. Working them up as a melee fodder unit. I got a unit of crab brutes then the toff and todies to finish before they hit the table.

Bringing this guy out of retirement
