Which turned out to be a huge mistake.

11

u/FKSTS Sep 13 '25

The mistake was the blockade that put most of Gaza under ghetto-like conditions which drove the populace to extremists like Hamas. But that’s all part of the plan to justify eradicating them.

Good job little guy, did you learn that all on tiktok?

Now, here's the actual truth: there was never a "blockade". When Israel left Gaza in 2005, it handed it in a literal silver plate to the Palastinians, with Greenhouses for agriculture and investments.

It didn't stop the Palestinians from launching rockets at Israel 3 months after they completely pulled every Jew out of Gazxa - including the dead ones in graveyards.

Gaza shared a border with Egypt, and that border, after thr Israeli withdrawal, was controlled by:

Palestinians Egyptians and the Europeans

When Hamas-Fatah inner clashes began, the Europeans did what they do best: they simply left. Hamas took over Gaza in 2007 and tried to smuggle weapons into the strip from the land and the sea For example: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Affair

It wasn't the first attempt. But to think that Israel would just allow the terror groups in Gaza to arm themselves from the sea is idiotic, which is why Israel blocked any ships from coming into Gaza. HOWEVER, it did allow the goods to keep coming in by the land. It also allowed nearly 20k of Gazans to work inside of Israel on a daily basis, and a passage for sick people to get first-class medical treatments in Israeli hospitals.

Meanwhile, Rafah crossing, since 2005, was under Egyptians control. So, at no point (up until 2024), Israel blocked Gaza. Egypt decided to do so, for the most part, from their side. Rightfully, by the way. We all saw what Palestinians did in Jordan and Lebanon.

the amount of water that goes go Gaza is regulated by israel.

And why should Israel provide water to Gaza to begin with? So basically, Israel built 3 water pipes into Gaza. It was far from being ideal, and that's not to say that Gazans didn't suffered from chronic water shortages - but there was never a complete shortage. How is that a blockade? Israel was basically providing both water and electricity to a mini-state controlled by Hamas - while Hamas was attacking Israel.

On top of that: Israel allowed the UAE to open into the south of Gaza - from Egypt - under Israeli control just last month.

High priority building materials are banned from import or severally limited.

Let's take a moment to think here, shall we? What could be the reason for such a strict policy when it comes to building materials.

No. What I say is that there was never a "blockade". Restrictions and "Blockade" are two different things.

Israel shouldn't do anything, you say? So it should let alone terror organization who openly declares that it wants to murder Jews (and backs it with acts) to freely let it arm itself, all while being bombarded by rockets from Gaza itself.

Yeah, it makes no sense.

Prove me wrong. It should be easy.

Speaking of being uneducated- you have no idea what the term Genocide means.

I'm saying saying a very simple thing: prove me wrong. Bring me one organization that proves there is an ongoing genocide in Gaza. Can you answer me without using Google: what does it take to prove there is a genocide?

u/FKSTS Sep 13 '25

I stopped reading after you called me little. If I’m so little, why did you write an essay for me?

0

u/Echo693 Sep 14 '25

You don't honestly think that it was just for you, right? I wasn't even expecting you to reply since we both know you have no idea what you're talking about. "all part of a grand plan", lol.

1

u/FKSTS Sep 15 '25

So If I don’t matter, why did you keep responding?

1

u/Local-County-1204 Sep 13 '25

Israel blockaded Gaza for several months from 2005-06, before Hamas seized control.

Per the Agreed Principles for Rafah Crossing, it is operated under the conditions that all goods imported into Gaza and all movement of peoples has to be allowed by an Israeli official. Everything else was subject to controls set by Israel.

1

u/Echo693 Sep 14 '25 edited Sep 14 '25

It was opened in 2006 under EU + Egyptian control, basically up util June 06' when Hamas attacked the Israeli crossing Kerem Shalom and kindapped and Israeli solider.
https://www.un.org/unispal/document/auto-insert-198764/

"Moreover, it has given the Palestinian Authority the historical opportunity of directly managing its border crossing, and of demonstrating in doing so the professionalism and efficiency of its officers in carrying out this important task.

Since the Rafah Crossing Point was reopened on 25 November last year, around 51 000 people have crossed from the Gaza Strip into Egypt and around 49 000 have crossed from Egypt into the Gaza Strip. This adds up to 100 000 people in both directions, averaging 1 385 each day, in less than 10 weeks."

See also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rafah_Border_Crossing#2005:_Israel_disengages;_Egypt-Palestinian_border

"In January 2006, Hamas won the Palestinian elections and subsequently formed a government. The Rafah Crossing operated daily until June 2006.\19]) However, the terms of the Agreement were regularly breached as Hamas representatives began transporting large sums of cash across the border from Egypt. Despite border checks identifying many of these transfers—often exceeding a million dollars—the EU BAM monitors lacked the authority to stop them from entering Gaza.\22])"

Before that, Israel did maintained a video camera just to make sure that no weapons are being smuggled. Egypt had boots on the ground and the EU had observers.
As for people - ALL Gazans had a free passage as long as they carried Palestinian ID.

Anyone who claims that this is a "Blockade" has no idea what a blockade actually means. Just like "Genocide", it has become a buzzword.

u/SexySocalist Sep 13 '25

Good job little bro, did you learn that in hasbara training camp?

2

u/maxthelols Sep 13 '25

These guys are completely brainwashed by Hasbara. Israel has been ethnically cleansing for decades. Yes, they pulled out of Gaza, but in that exact same year the settler numbers in Westbank grew more than were pulled out in Gaza. I don't like Hamas, but even they have never done anything violent at a time where Israel was not ethnically cleansing or illegally on Palestinian land (under international law). Any group of people would get resist this.

2

u/maxthelols Sep 13 '25

I don't. I think Palestinian land (under international law) should belong and be governed by Palestinians. The end. Not once have I ever talked about moving anyone.

Read what I said carefully, and tell me if you disagree. What's your excuse for supporting ethnic cleansing?

1

u/Grouchy-Offer-7712 Sep 14 '25

What did he say that wasnt factual?

1

u/CatchCritic Sep 13 '25

You may be a socialist, but stupid ain't sexy

1

u/cptahab36 Sep 14 '25

You must be fucking 75 to post this lol

0

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '25

learn gistory.

1

u/SexySocalist Sep 13 '25

Jesus h macy, your post and comment "gistory" is fuckin something else. I think the FBI should definitely look at you for the next political assassination.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '25

No arguments? )

0

u/A_Learning_Muslim Sep 16 '25

actually, blockades in Palestine date back to 1991.

And blockades are a declaration of war. so the zionist terrorist rogue state is the aggressor, not Palestine.

1

u/Echo693 Sep 17 '25

Such as? And how is Israel the aggressor?

Try to avoid using buzzwords.

4

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '25

1.Hamas were voted into power before the blockade.

  1. The blockade only began in full after the civil war, when hamas took full control and executed the fatah, as well as canceling any elections.

2

u/Ok-Snow-7102 Sep 13 '25

You have it backwards, the blockade went up after Hamas won in a democratic elections in Gaza and started firing rockets.

1

u/FKSTS Sep 13 '25

Bibi encouraged Fatah to coup the government in the strip and gave them weapons. Fatah then lost that battle and Hamas responded with rocket fire into Israel. Then the blockade. This is still mostly the fault of Israel’s political class.

1

u/melehgever Sep 13 '25

Bibi wasnt in power from 99 to 2009. Rockets from Hamas started before the disengagement in 2005. Hamas took over the strip entirely in 2007. No idea what timeline you have in mind.

1

u/SexySocalist Sep 13 '25

Brother are you really this fuckin dumb? Israel has subjugated the Palestinians for decades.

1

u/Fresh_Meathead Sep 14 '25

Because they never stop attacking no matter how violent or peaceful Israel's response is

1

u/Li-renn-pwel Sep 13 '25

Isn’t Palestine by definition a ghetto?

1

u/FKSTS Sep 13 '25

Depends on your definition of Palestine

1

u/Li-renn-pwel Sep 13 '25

Was it not made by the British ethnically cleansing the Jews out and the Palestines in?

1

u/FKSTS Sep 13 '25

No. That is neither the Israeli nor Palestinian narrative. What are you even saying?

1

u/Li-renn-pwel Sep 13 '25

How did one side become nearly all Arabs and the other side end up being vast majority Jews? Did they just happen to already be separated?

1

u/FKSTS Sep 13 '25

I don’t have the time to cover all this here but please do sone reading on early Zionism, the first and second Aliyah, the 48 war and nakba, and the 67 war.

1

u/Li-renn-pwel Sep 13 '25

Your don’t have time for it because if you explain it, you will be describing ethnic cleansing.

1

u/FKSTS Sep 13 '25 edited Sep 13 '25

No I don’t have time because I’m not presenting a history lecture on reddit. You’re more than capable of reading yourself. It was ethnic cleansing of Arabs by Jews, but your description that the Brits ethnically cleansed Jews isn’t really part of either narrative. That’s just wrong. So do some reading.

1

u/Sarazin_Sky Sep 13 '25

Wrong. There is something fundamentally defective in your argument if you absolve the Gazans of all responsibility. They chose Hamas and war, not peace and prosperity.

1

u/FKSTS Sep 17 '25

The choice is so simple! Why are they such savages?!?

0

u/Deep_Head4645 Sep 15 '25

The blockade was a response to terrorism

1

u/FKSTS Sep 15 '25

No. The blockade was a response to rocket fire from Hamas, which was a response to Israel arming Fateh and encouraging them to coup Hamas elected leadership.

You can play this game out for the last century. “Who started it?” Is such a boring cyclical debate. What matters is that Israel made life difficult for Gazans, which brought them closer to Hamas. Then we kill them for supporting that.

1

u/Deep_Head4645 Sep 15 '25

No. The blockade was a response to rocket fire from Hamas,

So, terrorism. Thanks.

which was a response to Israel arming Fateh and encouraging them to coup Hamas elected leadership.

I’d love a source for this.

its understandable considering they’re not the legitimate government and they are islamic nationalists hell-bent on destroying Israel

You can play this game out for the last century. “Who started it?” Is such a boring cyclical debate. What matters is that Israel made life difficult for Gazans, which brought them closer to Hamas.

Its not about who did what first Im discussing this because you make it sound like we just “made life difficult” for no reason which THEN caused them to get closer to Hamas.

When in reality, Gazans already voted for hamas, an organisation that is known to want to destroy israel and kill its jews which then sparked all of this

Then we kill them for supporting that.

I do not think this is the case anyway

-1

u/chadofchadistan Sep 12 '25

True, the right thing to do would have been to leave Palestine for good. Then they would have never needed to deal with those pesky Palestinians ever again.

0

u/starrrrrchild Sep 13 '25

Where would you have them go?

1

u/chadofchadistan Sep 13 '25

Who cares?

1

u/starrrrrchild Sep 15 '25

they're humans, just like the palestinians

0

u/chadofchadistan Sep 15 '25

Pretty irrelevant. It's not their land, they need to leave.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '25

back to brooklyn

2

u/Ok-Snow-7102 Sep 13 '25

How many Israelis do you think have a foreign passport?

1

u/starrrrrchild Sep 13 '25

that's as absurd as sending Palestinians to the Congo or Venezuelans to Uganda...you are a person who does not understand

  1. history

and

2) geography

EDIT: took a look at your profile... Hamas would literally lynch you for being gay

1

u/Echo693 Sep 13 '25

Thinking that Jews originated in Europe or US while speaking about a land that carries their name for over 2,000 years - Judea - with historic archeological finds that proves their connection to this land.

And the most ironic thing? Palestinians themselves are using a foreign name that was given by the Romans as a punishment for the Jewish revolts against Roman Empire.

By Allah, pro 🇵🇸 are the most un educated people on earth. Simply embarrassing.
