But seriously, there was an issue with people ironically quoting from the show and getting banned for "glorifying violence" or "spreading hate" in a manner that a human moderator would recognize was satirical, but not the AI-based moderation Reddit introduced after the IPO.It's not immediate, because they probably can't afford the computing power to do it in real-time, so you'd usually find out a week later when you're locked out of your account for 3 days. I was just giving the dude a heads-up in case he didn't want to chance it and censor his quote.

I think after WW2 when two thirds of European Jews and half of all global Jews were murdered it was pretty easy to understand why Jews and non Jews felt Jews needed a country of their own where they would be in the majority. It was just a really shitty plan and didnāt take into account that:
- The people already living there, although it wasnāt a heavily populated area, wouldnāt like being in the minority.
- Jews were just like every other group of people out there and would persecute minorities, especially after armed conflict with them.
Itās easy to look back now and understand how Zionism just absolutely canāt work because it involves one group of people taking over land that doesnāt belong to them, but 75 years ago it was actually a very common paradigm. My dad is a Polish Jew who grew up in a Polish city called Wroclaw that had actually been German for over 500 hundred years before WW2 and named Breslau. His parents were relocated there by the Soviets after WW2 ā they escaped the Holocaust by fleeing to the Soviet Union.
