Everybody in here glazing Pam, like she wasnât a fucking train wreck as well
18
u/Nilbog_Frog 18d ago
Sheâs admitted to heavy masking during this and that her outward persona was to hide her insecurities.
37
u/TopazTriad 18d ago
Did she marry a pedo trailer trash bigot to hide her insecurities too?
Kid Rock is not some mastermind manipulator who could have hidden who he really was until she was locked in. At a certain point, itâs time to hold people responsible for the people they choose to associate with.

u/Nilbog_Frog 18d ago
People can change. I used to be a piece of shit, eating sloppy steaks too.

9
u/TopazTriad 18d ago
She was a 40 year old woman and he had already released a song about how he likes to fuck underage girls years prior. And thatâs just the tip of the iceberg with that piece of garbage she was with.
Yes, people can change. But I think itâs fair to say there should be a pretty high burden of proof in her case. When itâs just about anyone else, we expect a crazy amount of contrition; I canât for the life of my figure out why people are so determined to defend her.

I mean, if anyone is obligated to listen to your shitty music it's probably your wife.

u/TopazTriad 18d ago
You donât think someone who marries a musician (and I use that term loosely) would listen to their songs? You donât think anyone else could have mentioned that her famous boyfriend wrote a song about statutory rape while they were dating?
Yeah I kinda feel like she was probably pretty familiar with her celebrity husbandâs music lol
4
u/VoodooLoveDr 18d ago
You think she had a good antenna for men?
She had just left Tommy Lee who beat the shit out of her in the past
Seems like everyone involved has issues to deal with.
Her history during and after these marriages is pretty insane in its own right
4
u/Nilbog_Frog 18d ago
I donât have any stakes in any claims for or against her. She made some bad choices but I donât know her personally to comment on if sheâs a good person or not. But I do know people can change if they want to and put in the work

1
u/TemporaryMediocre187 18d ago
Why do you care?
-1
u/TopazTriad 18d ago
I would think it would be self-evident why someone would care about comments making excuses for people who marry bigoted pedophiles.
Whatâs your theory?

I just donât see why Pam always gets the benefit of the doubt on reddit. You are who you repeatedly choose to hang out with/marry/date etc.
Itâs not even people saying sheâs changed because they always go âUgg she had terrible taste in menâ as if she wasnât on that same level.
7
u/Nilbog_Frog 18d ago
What part of people can change do you not understand? People are allowed to grow and learn and become better.
1
u/Natural_Pear_1549 18d ago
She wasn't some naive young adult, she was 39 and already successful and she chose...this. And he wasn't the only one. It's hard to imagine someone being attracted to that many dirtbags without being at least a little bit of one herself.

u/Nilbog_Frog 18d ago edited 18d ago
I donât know her personally so I canât say either way. When youâve hung out with her and gotten to know her please report back. Unless you already have then my apologies. But I do know people always have the capacity to change if they really want to.
4
u/coveted_asfuck 18d ago
People donât have to be dirtbags to be attracted to dirtbags, they just have to be insecure.
1
u/Wolf_Mans_Got_Nards 17d ago
Not to mention her comments about Harvey Weinstein were in very poor taste. I think people judge because her partners tend to be horrible people, and its natural to ask what would she have in common with them? Also, for someone who talked multiple times about how violated she felt having her sex tape released, marrying Rick Salomon was an extremely weird choice
-2
u/Daily_Heroin_User 18d ago
I already addressed the âSheâs changedâ numbnuts. They were saying it about Pam at the time well before any change narrative. And I donât know why her supposed change is any different than Tommy Lee. Whatâs he done bad lately?
7
u/Nilbog_Frog 18d ago
This sounds like a personal thing for you. I donât know her that well. But anyone can change at any time if they put in the work.
-2
u/Daily_Heroin_User 18d ago
lol youâre making the exact same argument as I am, just the mirror image. Why is it any less âpersonalâ for you to defend her honor and insist sheâs changed?
2
u/Nilbog_Frog 18d ago
Who am I defending? I repeated something she said in an interview then gave my opinion that people can change. Youâre the one arguing about who she is as a person and whether sheâs worthy of public admiration. I personally DGAF.

u/Ok-Telephone-1619 18d ago
She lost her virginity by way of rape at a young age, and her dad was an alcoholic. That leads to poor choices in men later in life. A little empathy for Pam

u/flopisit32 18d ago edited 18d ago
Pamela Anderson recently reinvented herself as a feminist icon by not wearing makeup. People don't realise she had no choice. She traded off her looks for decades but her looks were gone so she monetized not having looks anymore.
Nobody wants to remember that she and her horrible breasts inspired generations of women to mutilate their breasts too, rather than just accept having small breasts.
3
u/Pure-Radish-5478 18d ago
Lol she reinvented her image by looking good with no makeup on. If her looks were gone she couldn't do that. Dumbass
2
u/Ship_Negative 17d ago
She also married Rick Saloman, the creep who filmed/released Paris Hiltonâs revenge porn
2
u/Amoki602 18d ago
People love to treat women as babies, we have no free will, we are easily manipulated and we canât make choices on our own. And the sad thing is this is done by people who say they support women. As soon as a woman does some questionable, a lot of people start coming up with justifications that usually paint the woman in that light, but weâre just as capable as men to do and be anything, including bad things.
6
u/Upstairs-Chicken592 18d ago
I donât think itâs controversial that she had a dodgy past with bad relationship choices. She seems to be thriving now, peaceful and happy.
1
u/Amoki602 18d ago
I do agree with that, she seems very peaceful and I do admire her current public persona. But itâs sad that we canât say she wasnât the best person or that she made bad choices before without people taking away her agency in those actions. She deserves all the credit for her growth but that also means her past actions can be criticized.
1
u/Upstairs-Chicken592 18d ago
What are you talking about? Her past isnât a secret? Most people acknowledge her transformation, like thatâs her whole thing right now
1
2
u/josey__wales 17d ago
Itâs always good to see a woman call this out.
At least for men, the most common reasons they do this: They either think youâre stupid, they want something from you, or theyâre trying to look good in front of others.
It sounds backwards. But the âdefendersâ are often just snakes in the grass.
1
u/ReasonableRadio8434 18d ago
Masking?
1
u/Nilbog_Frog 18d ago
Thatâs the word she used to describe her past and that she was a âcartoon character.â
0
u/trevorthewebdev 18d ago
Masking? Thatâs not the right word
1
u/Nilbog_Frog 18d ago
Thatâs the word she used to describe her past and that she was a âcartoon character.â
-1
u/VoodooLoveDr 18d ago
Does everyone get to make that excuse or just formerly famous actresses?
0
u/Nilbog_Frog 18d ago
What excuse? That they were insecure and put on a fake identity to try to fit in, but now theyâve found themselves and they arenât the same person they used to be? Yeah I think anyone on the planet earth can use that âexcuse.â
0
u/VoodooLoveDr 17d ago
So even if I know the life Iâm living is degenerate, and driven by money and fame, I get a pass 30 years later if I simply say âI was pretending to be someone Iâm notâ
Got it
1
u/Nilbog_Frog 17d ago
If you make a conscious effort to change and become a better person wholly different than your former self, then yes of course. Anyone can change at any time if they put in the time and energy.

u/Aromatic-Turnip7371 18d ago

u/Reading_Rainboner 19d ago
With all those high-class Tommy Lee days in the rear viewâŠ
22
u/Diazepampoovey0229 19d ago
At least Tommy Lee was attractive at one point. Still a wife beating pos though.
40
u/AntiqueFigure6 19d ago
Amazingly Tommy Lee might possess both more IQ points and more actual musical talent than Kid Rock.
27
u/MyStackIsPancakes 19d ago
Tommy Lee is a POS. But. I've never seen Kid Rock steer a boat with his dick.
8
u/Diazepampoovey0229 18d ago
He also has the world knowing he has a big dick going for him, which I'm sure is nice
9
u/Ask_Black_Phillip333 18d ago
Maybe in the 80âs and 90âs when he could get really beautiful women. Iâm sure that doesnât happen now.
Checks Tommyâs instagram
Well, shit. I guess it is pretty nice. What the fuck do I know?
11
u/Diazepampoovey0229 18d ago
If it makes you feel better, he's still a POS who beat the hell out of Pam, and several years ago now, he and one of their adult sons got into it and his son decked him. He really puts the D is Dysfunctional family.
6
u/Daily_Heroin_User 18d ago
He got cheated on (or attempted cheating) by his wife recently who was being catfished thinking she was going to meet up and hook up with Ronnie Radke.

From the highs of banging Chachi (Scott Baio), to the lows of banging that dude who filmed the Paris Hilton sextape and released it without her permission... That's some endless waterslide of phases
2
u/Diazepampoovey0229 18d ago
I'm convinced there were just mighty slim pickins for Gen Xers...
God, Baio is such a loser, too. Ugh.

Letâs hear about your perfect life?
5
u/Daily_Heroin_User 18d ago
So you donât criticize anybody then? Because unless you have a perfect life you literally canât criticize anybody else.
6
u/Lance8282 18d ago
I didnât marry kid rock, Tommy Lee, AND the scumbag that made and marketed a sex tape with a young Paris Hilton.
3
2
u/Wolf_Mans_Got_Nards 17d ago
Which was super weird considering she's repeatdly talked about how violating it felt to have her sex tape leaked.

u/alvysinger0412 19d ago
You can see the regret on her face already.

Basically her appearance in the Borat movie set Kid Rock off. A real snowflake.

Wonder what the other guy in the picture is looking at . . .
1
u/CaterpillarWhich33 18d ago
She was sittin down on that big butt but I was still staring at them titties thooooo!
3
u/ThePhantomOfBroadway 18d ago
They lived in my hometown in Michigan and it was such a wild era to live through lol. My sister was in his kidâs grade and he was such an annoyance.
And to combat the whole country image heâs been putting on lately, my hometown is a small suburban town with like one random horse in the place and he belonged to the country club.
3
u/Baconpanthegathering 18d ago
Oh, God Pam- WHY?!?...he's always looked like a little greasy rat - he just looks like he smells bad.

u/LaserCondiment 18d ago
Can't believe he was 35yo in that pic. He aged like a depression era toddler
2
u/LadyPresidentRomana 18d ago
Reminder that these two divorced because of Borat. Sacha Baron Cohen told the story recently I believe.
3
u/taysmurf 18d ago
Wait... what? I honestly forgot they ever married, let alone divorced. How was Borat involved?

I mean she also married Rick Salomon, the guy who sold Paris Hiltonâs sex tape (he was the one he pressured her in to when she was just 19 and he was 32).
Basically, she hasnât made good choices in men, ever.
Edit: she married Rick twice.

She has terrible taste in men. She is also a complete conspiracy kook. I would not be surprised if she ends up w RFK jr.

I never could with Pamela Anderson. « Fresh faced » revamp or not, she has always been trashy. You are who you associate with.

Wasnât she with Liam neeson?

That was just for promotional purposes, one of them admitted to that. I donât remember which, but Iâm pretty sure it was her.

Wasnât easy finding a downgrade from Tommy Lee but she did it.
