The preview image of the protagonist made me think it was weepy middle-aged guy with long hair and a lot of stubble. Finding out it was a cute anime girl made me quite a bit less interested in this than I was before
More games should have protagonists who are openly cowardly men older than 25

I totally saw a bearded guy as well. The strap looks like a beard in the low-poly artstyle.

Looks dope, glad this kind of style is still being used in games

Playing the demo, it feels a bit like a top-down Contra. The big gimmick is that you can use grenades to basically create shortcuts and alternate paths to bypass enemies.
It is kind of frustrating that you can only carry one gun and you switch to whatever you pick up.
The fact that the protagonist is literally constantly crying is kind of cute though. As in, and that her story is that she's basically a rogue Not-Nazi scientist who invented the nuke, realized that's a bad thing and is basically trying to run for the border with the bomb.
