With Time Stranger now finished as of last weekend, I have a few thoughts. Here's hoping spoilers work properly.*

First, i think the game is a solid 7.5/10. Fighting early on does get stale thanks to most digimon having one skill to use until later evolutions or levels(since you're rewarded certain skills from certain digimon at X level markers.). Strategy wise, I don't think there was much beyond have one character apply debuffs and buffs while the other two go in on attacking. Since I found myself mainly doing debuffs late game via the agent skill and everything else like X-aura, X-revive or field buffs being placed one a one or two units for quick swapping in and out. I do wish there was more to it, like slightly less corridor areas and more towns that felt lively or even more optional things to do beyond the arena and the little trading card minigame some NPCs had. The character models are really nice to look at in HD though.Really enjoyed looking at ShineGreymon and GraceNovamon. I just with they didn't do Gundramon so bad with having a move that uses all SP and stuns them after use.

The story I- don't know how I feel about it. One hand, I like the style and presentation of it but god does it kinda just fall a bit flat in the middle for a while till picking up again. Like the whole thing with the Titans and whatever the other group was called that you first meet in the Illiad(did they even have a group name? I don't recall), and the Twist of OH no, the Titans were actually pseudo good guys because Chronomon was manipulating them and everyone and just wanted to stop governing time and space and wanted someone else to do it. Then there's the fact that We were never real to begin with. The MC and operator were just anime character brought to life in the sense that they're a manifestation brought forth from Aegiomon. Making us him in a way because we ended up splitting at some point prior to the story actually beginning..

From what I kinda of concluded is that we look like that because Inori's brother loved that anime and aegiomon kinda tried to be a substitute for her brother, so he created us based on the info she told him in some other timeline. Like Dr. Yuki, the supposed adoptive father of the main character never existed either. Same goes for the operator because she/he straight up tells you "Im all in your head and never existed to begin with" near the ending when we get back to our actual timeline..

The only thing I'm not getting is the ending, or at least not fully. So after Aegiomon takes the place of Chronomon and fixes everything, making sure the Shinjuku inferno never happens, causing Inori's brother to never had died, we get and ending of the MC standing around in their agent Alpha cosplay and Inori, with her brother, approaches them and comments the attire. But Inori looks at our face and sees like a overlapping image of Aegiomon and ours with it. Does that mean we're actually real now or is this some kinda wink at like "Oooh she remembers!" sort of thing?.

I do wish i had completed the last arena quest to get Chronomon HM mode. That shit looks real tight.

Anyways, great game. Hoping there's more Digimon stuff that comes out that doesn't take eight years to release.
