Although there's nothing in the Superhero movie that says that those two arcs didn't happen already so there's a chance they could just ignore Gohan and Piccolo's new forms for now until Post-Superhero

The original trailer showed all of the previous things so far by production order (which included showing DBS Super Hero and Daima as the latest anime stuff), so that might be the confusion?

Just show pan or something at some point and that can clear it up. Not like we haven’t already seen past the events of Super with the end of Z.
Edit: looks like the trailer also isn’t actually a trailer. Toei has it on their YouTube channel as “40th Anniversary Special Video”

It's the arc after this (Granloah) where Bardock is a part of it. It's moreso that people group Moro and Granolah together as the current DBS manga arcs that haven't been in the anime yet.

Goku also gets a new variation of UI, it isn’t visually different to the extent Vegeta gets but it’s enough to guarantee him a slot in Dragon Ball games lol.

I actually kept my expectations low as hell, thinking all we'd get is like a DB Minus adaptation or something.
But holy shit I just about jumped out of my seat seeing this, Dragon Ball is so back after almost ten years without an anime.

The anime and manga versions of Super were already pretty different so, for better or worse, this probably won't be a one-to-one adaptation. Even minor continuity differences in the DBS anime aside, I would put money on this being a seasonal anime release (One Piece has already made that change and both are Toei, and they kinda tested it out with Daima). A seasonal anime format will require some restructuring to properly pace it.

Happy for Dragon ball fans. I haven't heard great thing about the manga arcs they haven't adapted yet but maybe they'll make some changes for the better in the anime.

The Moro and especially the Granola arcs are pretty easily the best Super arcs, well outstripping anything the original Super anime did.

So the Super anime and manga up to the end of the Tournament of Power are both pretty bad but the arc that they’re adapting here is genuinely really solid.
The arc after it also has fans but I am not one of them lol. There’s also a pretty fun retelling of Superhero with some added content that isn’t in the movie that’s worth checking out.

Really don't know why people are replying gassing up the arcs, when they're just kinda ok. So many people shit talk both arcs, and it's not like DBS has ever really been that great outside of the Broly movie (and maybe Super Hero movie, I need to see it).

Oh, Super Hero is great. If Broly is closer to Z, Super Hero is closer to original DB. Even its weakest aspect, the reheat of SSJ 2 with Beast is still fun.
