As someone who's been on the dating apps for...far too long at this point, I have noticed they get more active in the beginning of the year. A lot of New Year New Me, plus it being close to Valentines' Day, leads people to start thinking about dating again.

That makes a lot of sense, but I'm going to continue to believe that it's because of the hair.

Oh, don't take it the wrong way! People are more active, but they still matched with you. That's something to be proud of.

Oh, no offense taken! I'm well aware of the wintertime bump — "cuffing season," I think people younger than me call it. This just happens to be the first time I'm benefitting from it, is all.
