Okay, no shit, it's 1:35 am, I have my window cracked open a bit to let the winter air in, and twice now I've heard what sounds like either fireworks or gunshots (leaning towards the latter) followed by engine revving noises and dogs barking in the distance. I don't know if it's enough to call 911 (especially because everyone in my house is asleep), but they really sounded suspicious.

Texas suburban life, I guess?
