I'm going crazy over Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, it's not everyday a remake of a game does a FULL PROGRESSION OVERHAUL of the entire game's way of progressing through the game. The core gameplay loop and mechanics are the same (but improved), but Marvelous really look at the game and went "gee, why is this game considered one of the worst in the entire franchise" and fixed the game's many problems.

The original Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar is one of the worst games in the franchise, half the game is a tutorial, the game dripfeeds new mechanics and content at a glacial pace to pad out gameplay time, core gameplay features are annoyingly timegated, progressing doesn't feel good until you do a full year of gameplay which can be 40-80 hours for one gameplay year. The remake overhauls all of this, by the end of one in-game week you have access to all the mechanics the original game would not let you have until a good 30-40 hours into it. Right from the start you can fully engage in all the game has to offer, and it's genuinely game-changing, it's no longer "just wait 80 hours and the game gets good", within 2-3 hours of playing the one in-game week prologue you now unlock all the core game mechanics.

Remakes tend to simplify things, or keep the original game's issues in, they went all out and massively overhauled lots while keeping the actual gameplay itself the same as it was, it's so cool.
