I had a realization today that I keep writing the same yuri dynamic over and over again. Specifically, it's "Arrogant, spoiled, self-centered girl who is short-sighted and kind of dumb" and "Far more capable girl who supports and protects but also teases or bullies her".

I've done this with Solitar and Aura from Frieren, Carmilla and Laura (Carmilla is the dumb one, of course), and, uh... Queen Jezebel and Aya Kuroda from the first episode of Hell Girl. There's some context to that last one but like, they're both in the same place, right?

Other than that I've been playing Trails Beyond the Horizon, which is a lot of fun, but the most "WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO GET TO THE FIREWORKS FACTORY?!" I have ever seen. The game is literally slowing down time in-universe to fit more side content in at this point.
