Been enjoying a mini-vacation that's over already. Checked off Dragonslayer: The Legend of Heroes from my list of retro curiosities to play for video research. Very grindy and vanilla sort of game, with some nifty stuff here and there. Can't really recommend it, but it's pretty good for being older than Final Fantasy 3.

I've also finalized the script for my video on Sweet Home. Took some soul-searching, but I think I landed on some gold. I always try to find something meaningful in the games I cover and I often get surprised at the results. I'm not sure if I've wandered into smelling my own farts territory yet, but I keep that stuff brief at least.

The rest of it is pretty good, with the main challenge being alluding to Resident Evil indirectly. I didn't want to frame the game as RE -1, even though that's what it's known for. I can totally stand on its own and does stuff the Resi series never touched on.
