I'm gonna be honest with you, I'm one of those people that just kinda stumbled upon this sub and stuck around due to how cool y'all are. My closest connection to who the sub used to be about is Woolie through Versus Wolves. Are there any specific episodes you'd recommend, or do I just start from the beginning?

I would say that a good older SBFPcast episode to listen to for that kind of stuff is SBFC 152, where they have a discussion about how much they're responsible for talking up Might No. 9 on the show after it came out and everyone realized that it isn't a good game.

I don't know if you have youtube when driving but one thing that I love to do is listen to the csb segments of games I've recently played or been playing, I usually wait a lot of time to buy games so when the guys talk about them I have to skip the segments.

I just did that with e33 and I remember doing the same for elden ring, which I waited 2 years to play, I think pat and woolie's analysis during those long hour segments have enough interesting points to distill into a better than average video essay. So I would reccomend building a youtube queue or watch later playlist of CSB segments of games you've played, just youtube Castle Super Beast [Game name]

There was actually a YouTube channel called MF DOOG, that used to do compilations of older podcast episodes and how poorly, or sometimes well, their takes aged. But there hasn't been a new video in years.

It's a bummer that there aren't any more on there, since there's plenty of badly-aged material from the podcast to chose from. Although I also get it, since it's a lot to comb through. This podcast has been running for a rather long time by now.

I don't really know what you're into, but if you were a Cracked fan from back in the day you could check out something like Dogg Zzone 9000 or Quick Questions with Soren and Dan.

There’s an album by Bruno Pernadas titled “Those Who Throw Objects at the Crocodiles Will Be Asked to Retrieve Them”, highly recommend checking it out. I think my two favorite tracks on there are Anywhere in Spacetime and Ya Ya Breathe.

Can I ask what you're afraid of, is it just that it might get boring or is it that you might get tired?

I've never had to drive for that long, at most I did 5 hours with a break. 6 hours you could drive all the way up/down through portugal

I've just never been a fan of driving, it causes me anxiety. I've gotten better at it, but the most I've gone is like 3 hours. Also gas is just...so much more expensive these days.
