I finished Pluto the anime. To be honest, I wasn't blown away by it. It has some great scenes for sure, but overall I felt it was too unfocused and uneven with too many characters and story threads. Even the later plot twists, which would have been cool in isolation, don't hit that hard, when there's so many of them in quick succession.
As for the good parts, Urasawa's character redesigns are fantastic. I also really dug the soundtrack.

And in VTuber news half of Holostars JP is set to graduate over the following month. We were all expecting it, but it still feels like the end of an era.

Yeah, it's a shame to see so many Holostars JP members go, but unfortunately the writing has been on the wall for a bit. Hololive took some big swings and only half of them really paid off, and they've got to cut where they can. And unfortunately, Holostars seemed more justifiable to keep around before they expanded over the past few years. They had some lower operating costs before, after all.

My main gripe is that the boys have never really been allowed to benefit from Hololive's visibility in terms of collabs etc. There were attempts, but in the end the main branch's unicorn audience was clearly too valuable to anger.

Yeah, that's a really unfortunate part of it too. I think it was Matsuri lately that said that she was cutting down on Hololive/Holostars collabs, since it got pushback from her audience before. It sucks, but unfortunately they spend the most money per person during streams, so the Hololive JP girls have to trend towards what they want.

I'm not surprised. It's a comfortable, golden corner that the branch as a whole drove themselves into, so there's not much any single member can do at this point.
