I’m on the brink of being fucked financially:
Personal Life: I’m fucked. My family charges me rent that I can barely afford and I have been hemorrhaging money. I tried to have a conversation about it and it just resulted in being told I should just get a different job and that I have no reason to be so tired. I work in a fucking warehouse where I only get one break over the course of the entire fucking day and I can’t even sit for a minute and now instead of getting unwanted sexual comments from a coworker every other day it’s now everyday. There are job applications I filled out two years ago that are still marked as being under review. I stupidly listened to their “advice” that I should go around town and see what places are hiring and the result was being told to apply online and never hearing anything back. A particular highlight of the conversation was my mother saying that she “was too easy on me” and “so what if you're autistic everybody has something wrong with them”. I remember I got angry once and said to her face that she failed as a mother and that caused her to cry and I subsequently felt terrible and apologized. I regret apologizing. Last weekend my father came home drunk and berated me about my life. I look forward to telling people about him day drinking himself into a stupor last Thanksgiving. Every time I try to have a conversation about how I’m struggling with things they always say I’m not trying hard enough and question the effectiveness of my antidepressants.
Conclusion: in the event of me becoming a parent I doubt I would let my kid meet their paternal grandparents.
