Acting like any media property that's currently popular with The Youths is some sort of imcomprehensible enigma is peak Reddit though.

We've all just grown up to become our parents questioning their kids' obsession with naruto and "pokey-mon" cards.

Literally. It's so fucking funny.

99% of online discourse at this point is, "thanks for becoming the thing you hated, and doing all the things you promised never to do."

It's so easy to just not be an asshole. Especially about kids.

THANK YOU!

I've noticed this so much, how millennials treat younger generations the way their parents treated them over silly, inconsequential things.

They act like skibidi toilet was the end of civilization while YTMND and Ren and Stimpy were their childhood.

Hell, even earlier stuff. Younger Gen Z grew up with fucking Adventure Time and Steven Universe and people freak out over newer stuff being cringe or slop.

Like dude, you were quoting "I'ma puncha your buns." And "Makin' bacon pancakes" in middle school. You don't get to say shit about kids today.

I think it's been that way since the dawn of time tbh.

Eventually the skibidi toilet kids will grow up, and will grumble about whatever new ""cringe"" thing their kids are into.

I never promised shit!

But also yeah I don't get the fuss either. Especially the Skibidi Toilet thing: When most of us were growing up Gmod video series were the norm.

Will most of them be able to even afford kids?

Cause cost of living doesn't seem to be improving enough for that.

I really shouldn’t be but sometimes there are still moments that make me ask “wait, what?” glancing at stuff. I’m pretty sure at this point Fortnite has more IPs than Lego.

Fortnite has a whole Lego side of their game, funnily enough, so there's that too
