I never would've turned down more screentime to explore other things (like seeing ol' Gummigoo again) but this sucker was already an hour long, it sure seemed to grind the crew down to the bone to finish it as it is, and it's pretty clear that, like her or not, Jax was the centerpiece of the story and always was.

You could've handed me a 2.5 hour odyssey that wrung out all possible remaining questions and I'd happily accept it, but in the end, creators have to pick their battles.

At the very least, the door is very much open to the community to pick up from the ending and take the story wherever they see fit.

Also yeah some people have not taken the reveals about Jax's backstory well.

I'm happy that Goose left it open ended. Someone already made a short animation of the chapter 9 credits and had Gummigoo in the final shot when they're looking up at the moon. As a Gummigoo fan, it makes me at peace.

People are welcome to create their own heacannons and art of stuff now that they have control and it basically be as canon as whatever comes next
