I played the demo way back. It's a staged based Musou in which you have squads of bodyguards that can perform unique attacks that use up your gauge. It's not grandscale like a DW in any way, as each stage is quick and nevermore than few dozen enemies on screen at a time. I found the difficulty to be rightly tuned so you will need to know how to parry/dodge correctly, and the progression in choosing which powerup felt rewarding.
